An Android's Poem

Sometimes when I sit at the piano
I feel this house is my skin.
And when you move within it
It is as if you were inside my skin.
And I play, and I wait.

Sometimes when I stand on the roof
I feel the city is me.
And its buildings are my bones
And its traffic flows within.
You are out there, in me.
And I watch, and I wait.

Sometimes when we are together
You are by me, I am by you
And there is no more of me than fits in this body
And that is enough.
And I am content.
