What is the best thing you have ever drawn?

lets see my best drawing is of this mermaid underwater surrounded by fish and such. The part i love about it is , its soo huge a drawing and i really went all out with details. From the muscles to the hair, the tail...the jewels around its waist..even the fish around it.. i did alot of research to get the fish looking realistic. To bad i did the whole thing in pencil...one drop of water and all is lost..sigh..kinda ironic actually...

I think this is my best drawing........... I've done a few of Inu-Yasha before (ok, ok, a lot), but I was really surprised with how well this one came out:

Hhhheeeeeeyyyyyy, this one's really good.

I mean really, really, really good. Did you draw it off of something?

I guess mine would have to be a picture I finished last week. It's of a little blue haired girl named Maki from a story I'm sorta writing. There's a full body shot in the front of her in her school uniform with a waist up shot in back where she's in a kimono.
Here's why I'm proud of it.
I bought some pretty Japanese-y patterned origami paper from a craft store and traced the kimono Maki was wearing on the back, using my brother's light box. I then pasted it to the picture. I did the same with metallic origami paper for her obi. It turned out really well. I have to post it when we get our computer back from the shop (something funky happened to it, I have no clue what Confused We're using my brother's computer currently) I'm planning to do some more kimono pictures, including Dorothy and maybe Angel too. I love this paper! Big Grin

My best drawing is a pecil drawing of Link, from Zelda.

I must confess that I traced the outline but I did all the shading freehand.

I wish I had a scanner so I could post it.

My best drawing was of bahamut (FF7 version) to bad I don't have a scanner. I would like to share some of my work with all of you.

For someone (me)who doesn't like InuYasha, I have to say that that is great art nonetheless!

I don't think I can even trace something like that... Sweatdrop

The best drawing I ever did was of Alucard from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night...it was so good, that I drew it twice (same pose) and then made copies so I would always have it....

Hmm.. well, looking at my anime art/fanart, I'd have to say that the picture of Roger and human Dorothy is probably my best. I have difficulty drawing males sometimes, so I'm really proud of how Roger turned out, and the coloring is some of my best CG work so far, I think. Plus, the subject matter is from my favorite anime, so I guess I'm a little biased in caling it my 'best'. Big Grin

If we're talking about stuff that would qualify more as 'fine art', though, I did this drawing back in high school of Ophelia from Shakespeare's Hamlet (my favorite play of his), where she was kind of half in the water and clinging to a stray log floating in the water. It's hard to describe it, but at the time I was not very good at backgrounds and I had done this nicely detailed forest and even gotten the water to look pretty good. Alas, I entered it in a competition and we didn't get the pieces back for quite a while. By the time my teacher had them all back I had graduated (this was spring of my senior year), and when I finally had time that summer to go get my pieces, that one was missing. All my others were still there, but not Ophelia. Sigh. I think I scanned part of it before it was finished, but I'll have to dig around for it.

I'm tempted to say that I'm almost better at realistic portraits and such than I am at anime, but that's not always true. I have to really want to draw something for it to turn out well, which is why most of the paintings from my painting class this semester look awful and juvenile, while the stuff from my life drawing class looks (to me) much more accurate. I wish I had some way of scanning them or something, but they're HUGE. I guess I could photograph them or something..

Er, sorry for rambling. Once I get going on a subject (especially, sad to say, myself Sweatdrop ) I tend to go on for a while.. Sweatdrop
