Hi everyone Rexx here and I want to know what the best thing you have ever drawn was. I like art and stuff and I just wanted to know. As for me I drew a really cool dragon and it looked cool.

I have a pencil sketch of a display from a college art class framed downstairs in my basement. I got an A+ for the course. Big Grin

Um. That's tough. Nobody here has seen any of my drawings, but, I have varied feelings about them...sometimes I feel that they suck, or they rock...

Anyway, my best drawing....Lets see, my favorites are: my Usagi picture that I drew on my math book cover last year (Embarrassed Sweatdrop ), my catgirl picture, my angel girl picture, and my small picture of what I thought Angel would look like if she went to my school (This one is even colored!).

Meh....I guess my catgirl one is my favorite. I got lots more compliments on it than some of my others.

My best drawing i suppose was a landscape I did of the baltimore inner harbor at night..... I did a view views but I think I learned alot about drawing that night...
Like shadows being almost EVERYTHING in a realalistic picture...

yeah I just felt inspired that night. It took me about an hour and I think it was pretty good for my usual.... meaby Someday I should scan it into my comp and post it...
heh.... I could try to make a Paradigm harbor based off of where I did my drawing...

I'm a fan of Excel Saga, so I draw a lot of Excel Saga fanart. Of course, I don't have a scanner or I'd show it to you all.

What is Excel Saga anyway? Click here see the Japanese opening theme song Big Grin

it was an english project of all things. i had to choose a painter and by using his style i had to create an image from a book i was reading. the book i was reading was "of mice and men". and the painter i choose was jackson pollock. if you know anything about jackson pollock, you'd know that his works were as messy as hell. i am just happy that i got the A.
Pygmalion 12-27-2003 10:37 PM
In the Technical Illustration class I took, my final project was an isometric drawing of the Enterprise D.

There was hardly a straight line or a true circle on that ship! I still have the inked final version.

Ooohhh, I have two. I can list two, right? Good.

The first was a...well, kind of old one. It's of these two naked people (male and female) kissing and the male has his face turned away from the girl slightly looking out at the viewer...I call it hidden thoughts...something like that, because you can tell he's thinking something. And the girl, she's too busy kissing him to understand.

I'd give you folks a link, but that's obviously forbidden, but if you'd like to see, pm me. It's not that bad really; although they're naked, you see nothing...but the side of the butt...but we've all seen that so it's really nothing.

And the second is a recent one. I drew it for this chick (yes, I just called her a chick) at school for her boyfriend for Christmas. She's giving me 15 dollars for it, although I think that's too much, but I was told I shouldn't give away my work and I do want to get paid for it but I don't think it's worth 15 dollars.

But we're also not here to talk about the cost of it, let me describe it. The girl has this round face; she's not too terribly skinny, has a little bit of meat on her and she's wearing this sort of low cut short (no cleavage really...well, a hint) black dress that cuts off at a 45 degree tilt starting from her left thigh and ending slightly below her left knee.

She's wearing these black hills that show her toes and she's wearing stockings but because I didn't color the picture (no materials to) you don't really know that unless you look at the picture I drew it from.

She's pressing her (manicured) nails against her boyfriend's chest and he has this smirk on his face, showing a little bit of teeth. I captured his look really well, but her's was a little off...she didn't seem to mind.

Pygmalion, can you scan it in? That work-in-progress shot looks pretty good.

I used to draw ships a lot when I was a kid, one time I hunkered down and took about four hours to hammer out this incredibly detailed version of the Enterprise-A, totally freehand, at a 3/4 view from the port-aft area. Boy, I was so proud of that. I also drew this kind of silicon rock monster on a spare sheet of notepaper in my highschool art class, and it came out really well -- had some nicely detailed humanoid morphology showing through all the sharp crystalline angles and stuff. Unfortunately I lost both of them in the shuffle of school papers in those years, but I remember them like it was yesterday.

Edit: thought I'd give props for re-animate's girl, too -- reminds me of Death of the Endless. Nice job.

I have a thing for drawing clothing, and I have to say most of them are good. For instance, yesterday I drew two different japanesse kimonos. They turned out fairly good(I have no scanner so I can't post them Crying )

I also draw manga and anime stuff. I think the best one of those is a pic. of Dorothy that looks exactly like her, except I got rid of her hairband and made her smile slight. It's nicely colored and I got all the shading right so I'd have to call it my best amine/manga relatied drawing.

I can't draw worth crap… I can't even draw a remotely straight line except with a ruler. but once I made something pretty cool. I made a circle with a compass and marked 12 evenly spaced points on it. I erased the circle but kept the points. Then I connected all the points to each other (with a ruler). It looks awesome, but not very impressive.

I can draw stick-figures, at best. That's right, my drawings make great outhouse wall paper. Smile

I'm not much of a drawer - I'm a tracer. The closest thing I ever drew was some sketched character studies of Roxanne Smith for Reciprocal Paradigm. And one drawing of Roxanne and Dorian for a 'publicity-type' shot of the series.

Damn, I really need to scan those ...
