The Killers!!!!!!!

This is quite interesting. Normally, I don't enjoy "VH1's picks" which is what they were when they first came out and I hated "Somebody Told Me", yet, when Mr. Brightside came out...I loved it. (Probably didn't help I saw the music video first and it totally reminds me of Moulin Rouge...I'm a sucker for good music vids, which is probably why I didn't care for them the first time).

None the less, it's not really the lyrics that get me. I mean, I enjoy some of my other stuff because of the lyrics and the music, but rhythmically, I enjoy this CD. I enjoy in the one song he goes from "You know, you know, no you don't , no you don't." Part of the reason I like "Andy Your a star" is the "Hey shut-up, hey shut-up" in the background and the sound of the song.

What I'm basically saying is that the compostition (music, random lyrics, ect) is great. I don't even pay attention to the lyrics and with lyrics like "Somebody Told me, you had a boyfriend/who looked like a girlfriend/ I had in February of last year" it's kind of fun to listen to. In my opinion, they remind me of The Cure...(Please don't hurt me...)

Not everyone has the same tastes in music R_Dorothied, so quit bashing the Killers.

I only kinda liked "Somebody Told Me" but I do really like Mr. Brightside. So The Killers are OK.

This I know and respect, HOWEVER, the Killers are genuinely, all around, bad. I'm not bashing the artist, I'm stating the facts. But thanks, mom!

What you say is indeed an opinion and please, don't try to pass it as fact. It might be better if you explained why you didn't like them instead of just saying "they are bad" and just saying that over and over. Opinions are welcomed, just don't say you dislike it without a reason.

the first time i ever heard the killers was on the radio..... and they had like a old sound to them on there first single and since then ive been hooked!!

I like the Killers from time to time, but for me they're a bit soft, I'm more of a heavy metal person, i.e. just picked up the new System of a Down CD

I love the Killers and ive had their CD since it came out! I get to see them in concert soon.... I live in Minnesota and they're coming! My favorite song is Midnite Show.

I like me some Killers occasionally... They sound like an 80's band, which is a plus...

But their lyrics are totally lost on me... I mean, WTF?

I saw the Killer a couple of weeks ago at Music Midtown. They were allright. they were the only band that we didnt get rained on during, so that was a plus.
