Rate The Banner/Signature

Oh my God, I haven't gone to H*R in so long. You get a 50/10 just for making me go there again.

Oh and the original picture I got this from is very vertical and wouldn't work well as a sig, in my opinion.

Gat, small but nice, 10/10.


What do you all think? It's Sora and Riku from Kingdom Hearts.

Nice. Clear. Cool. Fanart I presume? It looks good. I've never played KH, is Rikku a girl? It looks like a guy...YAOI!!!! Nicely done, but a little plain, besides the coloring and such. I like it, though.

Fanart indeed, Riku guy.

JA, background works very well with the image, except the white around the hair messes with that nice "flow". 9/10 Blue text is hard to read though.

Shonen Ai makes me happy. 10/10

R. Smith: Well, I can't say I'm fond of the context... Especially when it occurs to me the age of the portrayed... Still, on pure art alone, it merits a nine.

Quality of current image is very nice. Although it's, um... scary, clarity is nice, and the color contrast is good also. I don't see any other problems with it, so I give it a 9/10

First image:
Quality of image is very good once again. It's also pretty funny, and we finally get to know what he does at his spare time. Clarity is good, and the color contrast is good also. I give it a 9/10

Second image:
Quality of image is good. Clarity is nice, and I can't see any grain or artifacts here. Not much to say about that. I give it a 9/10

Third image:
Quality of image is good. For some reason, I like this one the least. Maybe it's because of how the characters are drawn. Other than that, it's good. I give it a 8.5/10

I personally like the first attached image better, but all of them are good.

Normal signature: is a little grainy, but it's pretty good. It's a repeated picture, however and a little plain.

Overall: 7.56/10

Attached: The animation's kind of bad, considering that when it slides, half of it remains behind for another second. And it's not the clearest image.

Overall: 6/10

Can I gripe a little here? It doesn't seem fair to give low ratings just because you don't like a certain color or don't know who a character is. I thought we were rating on the overall quality of the image, not personal preferences.


Dingo: Very nice! The overlapping images on the left are a little dizzying, though.. but I'm guessing that was the intention. 9/10.

Benjamin: The image is a little grainy, and I'm not sure why you're using the same image right next to itself. However, I'm guessing that might have come from a T.V. screencap, so there's not a whole lot you can do about the quality without going nuts in Photoshop. 7/10. As for the animated one, not bad. I kind of wish you'd slow it down a little, though, because it scrolls by too fast to read. 8/10.

Super Umino: I like how your avatars and sigs usually always coordinate. This one manages to keep its clarity even toward the right side, where the people start to get very small. It's cute, colorful, and clear. 9/10.

Juvenile Angel: I like this one because it's simple and doesn't try to wow you with overdone effects or anything. The font is easy to read too, which is a plus. I kind of wish you'd made the character in the corner (Kite?) a little larger, though. 8/10.

Okay, rate mine. And please, rate for composition/effects, not your character preference, please, because I realize most people dislike Angel and the idea of her with Roger.

Tifaria: What better thing is there than a Montage of Angel?

Tifaria: Great signature. Very clear, interesting. Angel isn't one of my favorite characters, but that doesn't count against you.

Overall: 9.5/10

JA: Nice .hack//sign banner you got there.

Rated: 9/10

Roger's girl- You sig pic is a bit too large for a signature, typically landscape (longer than taller) pics are best for signatures. But the picture is clear and crisp. Nice choice of centering the picture. Feels almost shrine-ish like that. 8/10
