...the size is just right, the height and especially the length of it. The quotes are an interesting reflection and at the same time, a telling parody of the situation of the Rick Blaine character. Also the spacing of the sig, which kind of has a widescreen Panavision thing going on (awesome) is interesting because it has Bogie's back faced to you and its centered on Peter Lorre.

Also you know this is my favorite film of all-time, so yeah.

X, I know you're leagues brighter and smarter than this. You can't tell me just because I'm black and that Marlon Brando is white (do your research on the guy, he did a lot for the Civil Rights Movement as well. Just throwing that tidbit out there) that you can't even see (no pun intended) beyond something as superficial as the social impications of someone's color. Oh I know perfectly well that Brando was big on civil rights, albeit my knowledge on the subject is meager (and by meager, I mean I heard it SOMEWHERE before). Doesn't change the fact that I strongly associate you with certain characteristics and therefore attempting to associate you with other characteristics causes a 'what the...' to occur. That's perfectly reasonable and I believe you're taking what I meant out of context. I'd have said the same thing if you had attempted to sport a theme of Mini-Me. And if Holly sported a dwarf theme. And so on.

Okay granted, I see your point. And your right about me taking that a bit out of context, my bad there. But still. I mean, I had themes relating to a whole range of people before; from anime characters to Hispanic, white and black people. I see what you're saying about assoicating me with certain characteristics as far as myself goes, since as my friend, you know me pretty well. And I do the same, vice versa. But that doesn't have anything to do with people in life that have an influence on me, no matter what race they are.

I just don't see where it matters is all, but I do understand your position so yeah.

I apologize if you were offended, upon further reflection I realized that probably came off as racist, which would be painfully ironic on my part since I lambast my family for acting like dicks over such things (seriously I got comments from coincidentially having the Cosby Show on).

It probably would have been better to say that I have an issue associating you with the total package of Marlon Brando (yet notably I did not feel such sentiment when it came to Hideo Kuze). I suspected that that sounded stupid and that you wouldn't be too happy about such a comment. Therefore I changed my post to something which was part of it, which was apparently a bad move (I was under the impression you were okay with comments like that for some reason).

To understand what I'm getting at here, I mean... you probably think of me as 'that pale effeminate egotistical guy', and I imagine that if I sported a relatively serious theme that had none of these things, you'd go 'What the hell? That's not X" Like a Chris Rock theme.. Same idea here. Sorry about that.

Well, we already took care of this over at that other place. YOU KNOW WHERE I'M TALKING ABOUT. So yeah, its cool X just a minor and friendly misunderstanding as Paul Newman would say. I get what you're saying and I didn't really find it offensive or even the slight bit racist, just kind of had me shook that it sounded that ignorant to a degree I guess.

I see what you are saying but if you like Chris Rock, then by all means you should rock a theme based on him then. I know what you are saying but what I assume about you physically really has nothing to do with what you are about personality wise (I'm more of the personality type anyway). I think that's one thing that kind of shook me up. I don't actually care much for Chris Rock in particular, that was just an example of a theme that wouldn't work for me.

And frankly, it DOES have more to do with the subject matter. IMO you try too hard to be Brandoesque and it automatically disqualifies you from your personality lining up in such a manner. The Lawrence of Arabia theme was far more fitting.
