Video Interview: Tom DeSanto on the Transformers Movie

I really can't imagine anyone but Frank Welker doing Megatrons voice but if he doesn't get the role, David Kaye is a solid choice.

New Transformers Inspired Music From Vince DiCola
Vince DiCola, composer for the original Transformers the Movie, has released a new piece of music. In a post at the Don Murphy Boards Vince wrote:
"Hello to all,
I am presenting this piece of music as a special "Thank You" to all my
friends from the Transformers community...
http://www.soundclick.com/util/getplayer.m3u?id=4522691&q=hi
Some of you may recall hearing this arrangement when I performed it at
the last convention I attended years ago. My partner Kenny Meriedeth and I began re-working my original arrangement about a year ago and we continued to work on it even after learning that a composer had been chosen to score the new live action film. As you will hear, this piece features some 'snippets' from my score to the 1986 animated movie, along with the original Transformers theme presented in an updated fashion.
I hope you enjoy this music and we wish everyone the best on the new
movie. Thanks again to all my fans!
Cordially,
Vince DiCola"
Don't forget, the original Transformers The Movie is being rereleased on DVD for its 20th Anniversary. You can preorder it Here.

David Kaye To Voice Optimus Prime In New Cartoon
Heather from Auto Assembly has recieved an email from David Kaye statign he is the voice of Optimus Prime in the new cartoon. The cartoon is being developed by Cartoon Network in LA. See the original post Here at TheTF.net Forums. |
Buh?! That's an odd turn. For those who aren't familar, Kaye did Beast Wars/Machines Megatron. I find it very odd for them to have a known voice for Megs be a Optimus Prime. Not saying he can't do more voices, but still.......
