Transformers Live-Action Movie:Megatron speaks

I loved the movie, so did the audience I sat with. Transformers has a unique blend of action and comedy!

No joke. I went around the transformers forums the other day (Since I haven't been this excited about them since Beast Wars) and the assholes bashing the movie are so annoying. It's not just a matter of their opinion, but the fact that they push their views on you because they're Transformers authorities.

Whatever. A couple of middle-aged elitists aren't going to stop me from getting a movie figure. I've checked them all out and it looks like the figures are quality too. They've been futuristic, seizure-colored, stiff crap for years, but now they seem to be realistic and articulate... with lots of missles to shoot!

I'm so torn on who to get though. Probably Starscream or the helicopter. I have a thing for big, clunky robots as opposed to sleak anime ones (That's why I like Big O)

Transformers is freakin' awesome! I've seen it twice and both audiences applauded.

My heart was pounding in my chest when Optimus Prime appeared, and I laughed or applauded through the entire movie. I can't understand how a Transformers fan could hate this film, it's one of the best movies you'll ever see.

Transformers fans like to hate it because it's not the original cartoon. Then they blame Michael Bay's directing so that they don't seem shallow and nerdy.

USA Today is conducting a poll on which character you'd most like to see in the Transformers sequel.

My old favorite was some random Decpticon jet named Ramjet. I don't remember anything about his personality, but I liked him because he had the nose of the jet on the top of his head and looked like a conehead.

On this list I only really like Mirage and Jetfire for a movie. The others are all too, "I'm a part of the mythology of some 20 year old cartoon show that most people couldn't care less about."

Oh, man. I really want to buy one, too. (Like an Optimus Prime or something...) This is for two reasons:

1. Because although it was extremely dorky, I enjoyed the movie in all its robot-y glory.

2. Because buying their sh** is what Transformers really is all about in the end.

(I also should try and find Beast Wars at the library... P: )

Ramjet was the kamikaze of the Decepticon jets. If he couldn't hit a target with his lasers, he'd crash into it.

If its one thing besides the giant robots that I liked about this movie, is John Turturro being such a goddamn asshole.
