After the sore letdown that is Spiderman 3, I pray that this movie will not be as disappointing. But after seeing the trailer I am almost 99% sure this movie will kick my ass.

Too many people BBQ'in and not enough going to theaters. That's pretty much what it comes down to.


Also, two friends of mine went to see the Transformers premier in the UK. Apparently from what they've told me it stayed true to the original show for the most part, and it really kicked ass. The human characters also apparently added the meat needed to keep it from becoming a "mindless action film".
Also, if anything, see it for the mindblowing visual effects. Hands down gonna win an Oscar for that.

edit: These are pretty awful looking, and I don't mean in the "giant robots are sort of ho-hum" way (they are though maybe thats coloring my perception), I mean they just look awful. Like that..whatever its supposed to be two posts up looks like this mottled heap of scrap metal

The movie is awsome. I thought the parts with the kid took away from the movie and I also think that it should have been longer. 9 out of 10
