Yea. Sister Jill 'captures' Honey's soul, and Natsuko needs to give Honey this special liquid to revive her. And well, in the end Natsuko had to kiss Honey. (As if the yuri-ish scene from episode 2 wasn't enough!)

Hey guys. I've removed some pictures from the thread, and I've uploaded screencaptures from the oringial series at my site.

So far I only have screens for the first opening and episodes 1 and 2

Also, this month the first novel of Cutie Honey SEED (a new CH manga) is being released 2/18. I'm not really sure what it's about, but I'll try to find some images for you guys.

Tonight, I finally got to see the first episode of Cutey Honey Flash!

It turned out alot better than I thought it would be. The animation and music were really cool! The style of it all reeked of Sailor Moon (which in'st a bad thing!) many different things were um, 'shoujoized'. Ms. Miharu is in Flash, but now looks younger, less sadistic, and apparently loves naked bishonens. Seiji has been bishonened (I don't know why, I thought he was hot to begin with ) and so was Honey's father. The voices were very good, aside from Miharu and Zora. I didn't like their voices, only because the original seiyuu (who voiced them both) was awesome, and they couldn't capture her awesomeness. Honey's voice is really good, I like it better than Re: CH, and Shin CH's seiyuus. I also liked Sister Jill's voice alot too! I think she may be the best Jill so far! Surprisly, the nude transformations are still there, although not as flashy or detailed as Shin or Re:'s transformations. Honey's main 5 forms (Flash, Fancy, Hurrican, Idol, and Misty) have been adapted into this series, with most of them redone and given new names. (Hurricane Honey is the only form not redone).

Hey guys, I've uploaded 33 screencaptures today for Cutey Honey Flash. As soon as the next episode comes out, I'll take more.

It was a pretty good episode. Not as good as episode 1, but still pretty good. My one complaint is mainly the animation. The art wasn't as good as episode 1, and there was alot of reused footage at the beginning. (Flashbacks) Also, Honey's transformation was reused with some colors changed. My favorite scene had to be when the Panther Claw minion had to tell Sister Jill about their failure. They both start to laugh, and then Sister Jill whips him to death. (Reminds me of the second Batman movie) And I'm not sure if I mentioned this or not, but in this episode Taranche Panther and Scissors Panther from the original manga/anime are the monsters. Scissors Panther has the same design from the manga, and Taranche is given a new design.

After scaning and reviewing the screencaps, it is obvous that the main guy seems to be wondering who this heroine is just about as much as he is falling for her. Honey in her normal form seems to be attracted to him as well. A formula that makes for great fanfic materal.

So far, it don'st seem like that. She seems to be more interested in the 'Twlight Prince', the mysterious pretty boy with the long hair. Seiji was a jerk to Honey at the beginning of the episode, later on he feels about and wants to get her a present to make up for it. But, Seiji and Honey do fall for each other. I'll leave it at that, don't wanna bring in any major spoilers. Also, at the beginning of the episode, it's offical that Seiji and Danbei are not related at all. Danbei don'st even know who Seiji is.

This was a pretty good episode, it seemed a bit fast, but it was better than episode 2. The forms Honey uses in this episode are Hurricane, Trapeze, Scoop, Lawnworker, Elegance, and Police Honey. Honey also sees Seiji's appartment. Messy and small, it reminds her of her father's workplace. She starts to clean it, and founds a swimsuit magazine (XD). Poor Seiji, you know he gets lonely.

Who is the chick with the pink hair that is seen with normal Honey almost all of the time? I also assume that Scoop refers to the reporter mode yes?

That's Aki Natsuko. Throughout the series she has a new design, in the original she had 'Dorothy' hair, and freckles (while in the manga she had pigtails) in Flash she has pink hair with pigtails, and in Re/Movie she's a cop with black hair and glasses. In the original manga and TV series, she is killed by Panther Claw.

Yesterday I finally got Cutie Honey 90's, and the first volume of Cutie Honey aGOGO! 'aGoGo' is by Itoh Shimpei, and is an adaption of the Cutie Honey movie. Although it's not really the same thing. For one thing, Honey's outfit goes through another make over. Looking more like the Re: Cutie Honey outfit. Natsuko also has a new design, no longer does she have a black ponytail and glasses, but short dirty blonde hair. (kinda like Cyborg 18 from DBZ) Sister Jill now looks more like her original self, and not some old man in drag. Unlike the movie,

where Jill was a tree creature whose origins were from the tree of life, in the comic she is an android also created by Prof. Kisaragi (like in Re:CH)

The 'new' Panther Claw from the movie, and Re are gone. Completely new monsters are in this manga, but share the same names from the original monsters. First there is Batfly Claw, Scissors Panther (who looks like an S & M Queen version of Edward Scissor Hands), and Tomahawk Panther. It's interesting to see the monsters share the same names, but look completely different. In the original manga, Scissors Panther was always a big ugly monster (who looked like a man..). Tomahawk Panther was a bat looking creature, who had wings that were shaped like a tomahawk. Now, in this adaption, she is a nutball Pocahanus. (sp)

Another interesting change in the comic was Prof. Kisaragi's death. In the other series he was killed (or kidnapped in the case of Flash) in the first episode, or before the events of the series. In 'aGoGo', he is killed at the end of the book by Tomahawk Panther. Also, like the movie and Re: OVA Honey's powers do get out of control. The manga also has it's share of nudity and fanservice of course. The nudity is detailed, with nipples drawn, as well as

Honey only has a few transformations so far. Hurricane Honey, and Armored Honey. The coverart is very colorful and attractive. The first four pages are in color. I'm guessing this series wil be short, about 2 or 3 books. Hopefully someone will pick it up in America! I'll try to do a review and post info about the 90's manga tommorow.
