Ah, that would be very, very cool! Hm...I wonder, could he maybe make a History of the World Part 2? (I mean, there's a "1", and why not make a comdey about the recent events; we need comdey more then ever these days)
I've always admired Brooks for his great comedies.
(I've always wanted to met the guy in person...but we know the chances of that happening are slim to none

.)

History of the World Part II! That'd be great. Especially since he already came up with a preview for it (see: End of History of the World Part I).
I hear he's going to be making a new film version of The Producers with Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane (in a studio in NY in fact).
Whenever Mel turns out a movie, it is gold.

Oh my god! My friend Shawn is so gonna poop his pants over this news!
I just hope they have some new jokes relating to the latest Sci-Fi stuff that has happened since the late 80's early 90's.
I'm just waiting for more Anime references.
Cast in the name of Shwartz, Ye Kosher.
Please Mel. DO IT! ^O^ ^_^ ^O^ (and all other sorts of emotes)

Great - I have the Spaceballs DVD in my collection. Mel Brooks always knows how to make people laugh (me especially). I'm looking forward to it already.
I like a person who can make a fool of themselves and laugh at themselves as well.
Whats the line
No light speed is too slow - set ship to 'ludicrous speed'
THERE IS A GOD
The first time I saw Spaceballs, I literally fell off the couch and was laughing on the floor. Probably because I was still a HUGE Star Wars geek at the time.
Hopefully Mel Brooks hasn't gone insane like George Lucas has. But The Producers proves that he didn't. Or maybe he went the good kind of insane.

Meh...I dunno guys. Brooks is kinda stale these days. Robin Hood: Men In Tights and Dracula Dead and Loving It were probobly two of the worst comedies known to man. Sure, The Producers on broadway was great, but it was based on his original script, so it isn't really anything new. Honestly, I'm not looking foward to this.

Robin Hood-Men in Tights was a very funny movie althoughDracula Dead and Loving It did kinda suck. I got the chance to see spaceballs in the theater last year at a midnightshowing in it was great so i hope this will be the same experince.

If it isn't titled "the search for more money", something will be horribly amiss.
As far as him being "stale". The worst mel brooks movie is still much better than the "best" adam sandler or rob schneider movie.
