Hidalgo recently came out on DVD and i just got it...whee!
What does anyone else think of this movie?? The horse was the best part about it, he was the best actor in the whole thing... he was such a beautiful horse!
The movie itself was ok...kind of predictable... but the horse!! One of the loveliest paints ever... I'm weird, i know. >;D

I got it on NetFlix. I wanted to see it ever since I saw it previewed at the Movie Theatres.
Though I won't have time to watch it until the weekend I bet.

Yes, I actually just saw this movie last Friday. It was pretty good, and the horse is indeed lovely. I love horses. The movie itself was ok. It was somewhat predictable in places, but it did have an interesting story. The thing that annoyed me the most about it was

One of the BEST and most overlooked movies of this year. Wow, an awesome film. Indiana Jones meets Sea Biscuit meets Lawrance of Arabia.
...The background of the main characrter though did sort of remind me of Last Samurai's main character's background, but that was probably a coincidence.
See Hidalgo!

I mean come on he loved his rider you know at any moment he could have bolted bucked him off and left him stranded in the desert to rot, but he didn't ..and that....to find a true bond like that...well its priceless.
