Yay! Many, many thanks for the transcripts! I think my brother taped over my copies of season two, and I'm holding out for the boxset, so.. these are precious. Plus, they'll be helpful for incorporating season two elements into the RP right now.

I, too, enjoyed Mathew Adair's essay. It would be nice if the original post could be linked to it.

I was wondering about when that would be finished. Glad to hear it.
The author used the Huzzah phrase at the end of the article!
Nice to have an update, thanks, Shredder

Wow, so much love for my paper! Even with all my typos... ^_^;
A bit of background... the paper was originally my Philosophy 1030 final exam last semester (Spring 2004) and was largely inspired by my professor's love of pragmatism and William James. When we first began to study James' philosophy, I couldn't help but notice the similarity in thought between James and Roger Smith, and things just sorta rolled from there.
For the curious, I can post my original notes (along with the amusing, somewhat tounge-in-cheek comments in between the serious notes) for when I was drafting out the paper for those who might be interested. I think my stream of thought in them is interesting, or at the very least may give someone else a tangent to work from.
Again though, thanks to everyone who took so well to my essay. It earned me an "A" in the class and possibly hooked the professor on The Big O itself. So, ah, go me!

Yep, I'll take care of that soon (I just have to get some smaller updates out of the way first).

I also enjoyed the essay, it's great to have a nice mix of Big O fan works for people to choose from. I think it might be interesting if you'd like to post your draft notes- maybe we can include them with the essay?

I presume they can be added in, sure... I'd just have to type my notes up since, unlike the essay itself which I wrote up in OpenOffice from scratch, the notes were scribbled together in one of my notebooks that I would habitually carry to philosophy class to... well, distract me from focusing 100% on the class.

I'll make the next update, and it will be up either this weekend or next week (depending on how much free time I have).
