This movie has just been released in DVD around here so i thought i should tell you a few words about it because i have seen it in theater and i must say i love it ^^
so ....kof kof....
Tokyo - Japan
Bob Harris (Bill Murray) is there for 1 week to shoot a commercial.
Charlotte (Scarlett Johansson) is there for several days too and hangs around while her husband is shooting a music band.
For several reasons they are bored and apart from being an american lost in the japanese weirdness, they have something else in common : they're lost inside...
And since they stay at the same hotel, they finally meet and...and...one of those magic moments appear and they find something in eachother and...i wont tell anymore cuz its really a great movie, very emotional ^^
if you have liked Virgin suicides ,also by sofia Coppola, you ll love this one. the feelings, the actors, the atmosphere, the soundtrack, the views of Tokyo and so on and so on its all very well done , i recommend it ^___^

I love that movie, it shows just how funny culture shock can be. I love the part when
spoiler (highlight to read):
he is shooting the comercial and the director talks for about a minute, then the lady tell Bill Murray to speak slower. That was great.

Big Grin
spoiler (highlight to read):
And the part where he's in the elevator and everyone is a head shorter...

I think this movie was an excellent example of subtle humor...

It was a good movie, the whole thing was pretty much just atmosphere.

I don't anything ever really happend in the whole movie.

It appeals to people who feel out of place or alienated, if you can't relate its just a movie about bill murray being unfunny in japan.
