My favorite is Batman Forever! It had great action, great humor, and lots of other great stuff! It also had Jim Carrey in it, and he ruled in this film! It also had a soundtrack with songs by U2, The Offspring, Method Man and Michael Hutchence. It doesn't get any better than that!
BTW:Nicole Kidman's very attractive in this film.

I'ld have to say the first film.
Why didn't you add the earlier films - I think the penguin's submarine (with customised periscope, flippers for propulsion, polaris homing missiles and especially when every report and order is begun with 'yo ho').
Now they were fun to watch.

OH BAH!
You're making me choose one!??? I can't! OH...I'll go with Batman Forever. I bought the soundtrack and I thought the guys were cute and it was an interesting plot line and Nicole Kidman was cool (great actress!)
Second would be Batman Returns. Not sure if I liked the Batman but Michele Pfieffer (SP) was AWESOME! (She made me realize Catwoman is my rolemodel!) Peguin was awesome.
I like those two equally darn it!
Still have yet to actually see Batman.
I also second you have to have the older stuff! You need to include the 1940s serials. Those look funny more than Batman...I mean...he doesn't have muscles until Tim Burton!

I chose the first one. It had a great feel to it. It really captured what Batman was all about. The music, the atmosphere everything was so gothic. I love that fact that Gotham was so nightmarish! Fantastic! ^.^ Batman returns & Batman Forever were close contenders however.

The very first Batman movie, starring Adam West! That is my favorite batman movie. Of the newer ones, I'd have to say the first tim burton Batman film is my favorite.

I'll vote for the first of the "new" ones. it was at least coherent, by its own universe's standards. th later shumacher movies were increasingly bad, resulting in the crap-fest (in my opinion anyhoo) that was batman and robin.

Batman Forever made me have a HUGE impression on me with the action and suspense and some of the comedy.

It is a close tie between Batman and Batman Returns.
I am going to have to go with the first Batman movies, however. Jack Nichoson as the joker is great, and the whole storyline I liked. And the music too. The part with Batman and Vicky heading to the Bat cave in the Batmobile is so cool to me.
I never fell in love with the last two. It seems as if it was put back 40 years to Adam West with the corny humor.

Same here ,I highly agree on what you said right there.
the First film of Batman was the Greatest Batman Films of all times,
it was more Dramatic and more of a depiction to reality. I mean it
wasn't as Cheesy as Those New Batman Films.

And one of the better things about the first two is that there are no bat nipples.
You know what I am talking about...

I'm going to have to go with the first one. Batman Returns was ok too, but past that you're in the "Gotham City is painted almost entirely with black light reactive colors" and "there's a new Bruce Wayne every five minutes an no one seems to notice" era. Not to mention the "the Batsuit has nipples now" era, ugh. The hell was Shumacher thinking...

I like the first one because it was the darkest. But George Clonny played the best burce Wanye. and Micheal Keaton was the best batman.

Batman. The Joker is just too cool for words. "Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?"

I have to admit Jack Nicholson did a great job being the joker. So I'd have to go with Batman too! I like Batman Returns too. But when Batman fought the Penguin in the last part, it didnt go well... I like the Joker vs Batman better...
Bat nipples?? LOl. I noticed that too!!! He he. What made them design it???
