Is it just me or was Instro a cool, bad ass? I thought he was a neat character for sure, and I could tell that there was something going on between him and Dorothy. I hope he's integrated into the second season in some way.

I thought Intro was cool...but not a bad ass...I thought he and Dorothy we're getting their thing goin' on too...
That's my girlfriend's favorite episode, I thought it was a pretty cool one too...along with Electric City and The Call From the Past
(Im forgetting what Bring Back My Ghost and Winter Night Phantom are about...I know one has to do with a dead military police officer and the robot that saves his life after falling from a bridge...but I forget which episode it is...)

That's the reason I'm taping them, plus if I don't go to the summer sanitarium concert in SF, I can bug my parents about getting me the 1st season DVD Box set instead lol

Is there a place where the episodes are recapped on this website? I know there's an episode listing with a title page screen listing to help jog your memory, but I havent seen anything regarding the plots for each individual episode...Does anyone know if they'll update the website with this info?
thanks....

You are cool for that, trekkieb47 ^. It's good to see people helping out this site. In fact, I think I'm going to be sending in a few of my Big O pictures, but this isn't really relavent to the topic so I'll stop there.
Going back to the Big O season 1 discussion, has anyone here ever noticed just how much mney flew out of that suitcase in the first act/episode? I mean, jeez. That was quite a ridiculous looking amount. Also, why is it that sometimes when Dorothy turns her head and/or body, there's that mechanic sound, and at other times there aren't? Additionally, does anyone know how Dastun got that wickedly huge multi-stranded vein on his head? Finally, was it just me or was the first episode in the first season the only time Roger actually killed people with his own hands (the scene where he blows up those two thugs trying to shoot up at Dorothy by means of his car missiles)? I didn't know Roger did business like that.

Earlier question on this thread was about R.D and Dorothy.
R.D is evidently somebody else using Dorothy's image (casings, as I like to call her body), probably trying to frame her. I suspected Wayneright was involved in a LOT of stuff, not just the plannings and makings of Dorothies 1 and 2.
The reason I believe this is the sequence of events at the end of episode 13. First: Roger said he figured out the 'R' means 'red' (due to the red cloak). The fake Dorothy asked him what he thought the 'D' was and he gave several replies, then she corrected him 'Death!' So, that's 'Red Death'.
Second: After R.D shoots Roger, she's hunting him through the tunnel. When Big O appears, Big O's fist shoots up through the floor, evidently crushing R.D as she hits the ceiling of the tunnel and goes through the street.
| spoiler (highlight to read): |
| (although I think she's going to make another appearance in season 2) |
Third: Big O's cockpit opens to reveal Dorothy. She admits to working with Norman on Big O when without warning, Big O suddenly leaves, with her still in the cockpit. Roger asks her where she's been, and she told him he would have seen her around the house if he paid attention (something to that effect - I was more concerned with the revealation that she was not R.D).
However, I think it's incredible that Big O appeared when Roger was in REAL trouble - when he was right on the verge of being killed, as opposed to being just wounded. AI (artificial intelligence) seems to be able to work (look at Dorothy and Instro), so why not the Megadeuses having AI as well? It would explain a lot, especially if they judge the intent of their pilots before the pilots are allowed to control them.
On that note, it also means Shwarzwald was able to pilot one because he thought he was doing good. Most psychopaths do not believe they are evil or wrong - Hitler was the same way - they are not bad guys in their own eyes.
