Well, 'deus' is Latin for 'God'. I always thought the robot's name(or rather, type I suppose) was just 'MegaGod'. Like the robot is a huge frickin' god. Or at least considered to be godly, due to it's massive destructive capabilities.

perphaps 'Mega God' could mean a Titan, they were larger than gods, and much stronger too, for instense Cronus, the greek gods' father
-they also mention Titan in the episode 'The Call From The Past' (the Sea Titan)

The reason I mention or ask how to say "three" in French is because I believe thats what the third Megadues is going to be named or called...hope that doesnt spoil anything....(I took Spanish in high school...skipped out on French....)
Thanks...
Ok... Titans are different from Megadeuses in Big O. The fishers thought that that Megadeus was a Sea Titan but it wasn't. That thing in Electric City was a man made Titan. We have yet to see a real Titan in the show.

I got to thinking last night about the Bigs names. Big-O, Big-Duo, and the third we've been calling Big-Trio (which I think is correct.)
Anyway, in music, a one person performance is a solO, a performance with two people is a Duet (Duo) and three people is a trio. I wish I remembered the Duet part last night, but I don't know. I was just throwing that out. *shrugs* The show has a lot of musical ties (Chopin).

In the Act named "Electric City"...wasnt the city outside of the Paradigm City dome? I could be mistaken, but if it was outside the dome, how could Big O come out to rescue Roger at the end...I forget whether or not Norman or Dorothy piloted it to Electric City.
I know one or two episodes takes place outside of the dome....

Well, as we all know, Roger uses the city's subway system to transport Big O. Now unless Im mistaken, there are cities where the subway system is known to travel outside of the city, and even connect with other railo systems. Thus, it only makes sense that a city next to Paradigm would have a connection to the subway system in adn/or under it. This means that Roger could have easily gotten Big O there.

In one of the episodes, (I think The Call to the Past), we see Big-O bust through a wall and head out to where ever Roger needed it. Maybe it was Electric City? I just remember watching that subway scene and suddenly I saw the train thing crash through a wall.
P.S.- No one piloted it to Electric City. As one should recall Norman was cooking dinner. Dorothy was actually scarce in that episode...

Since this topic was recently mentioned at another forum I'll add what was said there.
"Mega" = Giant.
"Deus" = God
Deus in the Greek language means God.
Apparently the Megadeus were looked upon as Giant Gods back 40 years, or so we are led to believe.
This would explain the "Cast In The Name Of God, Ye Not Guilty" phrase that ALL Deus's have! We get to see this in Season 2, and it really explains alot after you see #3 AND Duo do this with their pilots.

I saw Daemonseed again, and in one part, Dastun mentions to Roger a second letter which talks about the end of the world. Then Dastun mentions something about a book of revelations. Was that a reference to the book Roger finds in act 13, Metropolis?

Dastun was refering to the bible because the whole episode hinted with Heaven's Day actually being Christmas, and the elderly singing at the chruch, and then when Rosewater said that the true reason they celebrate Heaven's Day is because God's child was born that day.

You were one step away from getting your screen cap.
Open Media Player, Play your anime. If you like, pause the movie and press "Print Screen".
Now open up "Paint". Select "Edit" then "Paste".
You will need to crop the pic as this will be a cap of your enitre desktop.
Now you should be able to save your cap as anything you want.
If that doesn't work let me know.
BTW: Check your PM's!

In the last season one episode you see some caotic images in roger's dream, you see the sky full of Big Duo's, and the third Big models are destroying the town with eye beam cannons, so what did happen forty years ago may have been a war...

What if R.D. is controlled by Rosewater, and he wants to kill everyone else with memories planted inside them? Hence the reason she had such an urge to kill, becuase someone told her to, and she had to comply?
