Fast track to a top seed, perhaps...this is only phase one of my scheme. After an adequate number of nominations are in, I'm going to create a bracket out of this, and there will be daily polls to decide which song takes home top honors.
Hence why I am allowing multiple nominations, since LANIMILBUS is correct when he says that, technically, only one song can reign supreme...

For Chris'sake, that's by Beethoven. |
OH HOW EMBARRASSING! *covers head and cowers in shame* Bad Pen BAD! The orchestra director in the high school would be very displeased.
I updated that post then. I took it out (Though...Moonlight Sonata isn't that bad), and put what I was thinking: Raindrop Prelude by Chopin.
Gosh...I Feel really, Really, REALLY dumb.

I nominated the original. In my opinon The Cure (who did it first) is much better and 311 is almost an exacty copy of The Cure's.
Nothing to nominate today...just needed to straighten out how dumb I feel and curious about the above nomination (Are copies like that allowed in your grand "plan"? But...I think I have something against that cover...)

Well, although this has already been said, yeah, I
re-nominate this, but would like it be known (again) that Billy Joel was the Piano Man.
Captain Jack--Billy Joel
Baba O'Reilly--The Who
Hotel California--Eagles
There are a few more I'd like to nominate, including Sympathy for the Devil (Rolling Stones), Touch of Grey (Grateful Dead), and Any Song from Once Upon a Time in America, but alas, I've run out of nominations.
Edit: Meh, I hate to be a nag and ask mods to do stuff to threads which aren't mine, but I personally think this little tournament would be well served by a sticky of this thread. *shrug*

Yes, they're sharing a drink they call loneliness
