For the 4 Cookout Leftovers, there are 2 (two) tracks. (I stated this in my initial post). For the Custom CD's, there are 3 (three) tracks: The two megamixes, and a bonus track of your choice.

SURE PROMISE IS THE WORLD'S MOST BESTEST SONG IN EXISTANCE

I'm strongly considereing this, other than the fact I don't like sending cash by mail... I see no reason why not to do this. But I think I'll spend a little time convincing myself otherwise Big Grin . To send the money, I mean.

Not enclosed is Sharpshooter's mildly drunken rendition of the book of revelation.

You haven't heard about the apocalypse until you've heard it in slurred, vaguely coherent words recorded onto an outdated and broken tape recorder.

(...Hell...I could probably sell that...I'd better go find some scotch and a blank tape.)

Can you speak in actual sentences... :-/ I like getting to the point quick(er). So what is it you are trying to say??
IamRogerSmith 07-24-2004 01:29 AM
I could speak in actual sentances, but I believe my last post was entirely adequate.

I don't think it's cool to go around hawking your Big O related warez in this sort of manner. The people who were able to make the contest were lucky and privileged to get an excellent copy of your megamix CDs.

Even if your intentions are noble, the kind of semantics you used in your product placement is both making it seem like this forum is a both an unfitting marketplace or a simple pack of theives.
evanASF27 07-24-2004 01:42 AM
what so you mean that I can't share the music I mixed with the other people who DIDN'T/COULDN'T make it to those cookouts??
(They weren't contests...Oh Well they were cookouts...)

If you didn't want a CD you needed post saying so. Though opinions are respected, I don't think it was necessary for you to assume I think everyone here is a thief or a "unfit marketplace". Look I worded it carefully so that hopefully no one would get confused with what the options were, and what the process of payment was. Some people need very detailed and extremely specific instructions around here on how to do something or how to understand something, so I wrote it up in that manner (or attempted to at least) in order to include them.

I also wanted to assure that people could trust me. I mean giving out your address (even through a private email) is risky in today's society and is shunned upon. I'm very trustworthy, and I don't want people to be anxious about that one part...because someone might want to have a CD (because the megamixes are THAT good! Big Grin ) but isn't sure he/she wants to give me their address so that I can mail it to them. And though I didn't say it before, I think this is kind of obvious anyways, that I would delete the email with anyone's address in it after they receive their CD. I don't want them to be worried or anything.

[qoute]I could speak in actual sentances, but I believe my last post was entirely adequate.[/quote]
Actually that last post didn't really say anything but three periods one after another...I had no idea what to think.
IamRogerSmith 07-24-2004 01:52 AM
Look, I was ready to order a cd until I finished reading your post... which resulting in the language equivalent of feeling slapped in the face.

And, by your example, I guess it is safe to assume this forum is now an open marketplace to sell my Big O merchandise.

By "needed" I'll assume you mean "needn't". The rest of your post tends to ramble a bit.... I think your idea to, uh, give away these great CD's is admirable and thoughtful! By all means, I am sure anyone who orders one will enjoy them!

My basic point: please understand that you don't type like a lawyer.

... -> read between the lines.

Do you take money orders? Embarrassed Sweatdrop
evanASF27 07-24-2004 02:06 AM
what the hell..for one thing I AM NOT A LAWYER, and I don't want to be one either -___-;;

No it's not safe to assume that. I had no intention of making this place a "Big O EBAY", I just wanted to send out the CD's from the Cookouts out to those who wanted them. The price is only $5.00 and even though it may rise only a dollar, it isn't going to be like I'm trying to make a TON of money off this. I'm donating like a dollar something from the sales (if I ever get any) to Paradigm-City.com. I don't expect others to make random threads now announcing they have Big O DVD's for sale or anything of that sort if that is what you are thinking.

...umm if it isn't cash, then no. I don't take checks, credit cards, debit cards, etc...just a 5 dollar bill.
M.S. Feather 07-24-2004 02:14 AM
Lol, I guess I could send plain cash...not very safe but whatever.
