We didn't say anything to anyone because we wanted to be sure first...

Its worked wonders and the only thing that was making me miserable was my stomach. Seriously I couldn't eat anything without getting some sort of pain in my gut. But after seeing my homeopathic doctor this month I got some new stuff to take and I've never felt better. In fact I think I'm almost like I was before I started taking the anti-depression meds, and I thought returning to the world of the living would take a lot, lot longer. I'm not saying I'm 100% yet, but I think the hardest parts are behind me.

Very nice to hear, good sir! We're all very proud of ya!

I'll probobly transfer to either University of Florida or NYU (some lady called me recently to talk about how she re reviewed my film portfolio and loved it).

Forgot to comment on this - My apologies!

UF is a cool school, but Gainesville is INCREDIBLY dull... Especially in the summer when everything but the Steak'n'Shake closes at 10pm...

That's why I'm looking at NYU over U of F. Because it's in the city, and I basically grew up there/spent a great deal of time there. I also have a lot of friends that live/go to school in the city, so I'm pretty much set there, where as I know only one person that goes to U of F. I also always wanted to live in the city, too.

Well R.Smith, I am really glad to see things are working out well for you. From the way you've described it, you seem a lot happier. ^_^

As for me:

I got a really bad cold on my trip. Twice. It was not pleasant and it the first one lasted me practically a week. It got to a point where I just couldn't sleep. Damn congested nose!

You know, why the Hell not. Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I figured I might as well put it to good use. Besides, anyone who is marginally perceptive probably will have noticed it (if only subconsciously) sometime over the past...oh, three or four months. So, for all those who were wondering (and the fewer who care)...

spoiler (highlight to read):
...yeah, I confess that I am bisexual, though recently I've even questioned If I am really just that. Suspected it...oh, 'round the Summertime? Though I more or less confirmed it beginning of October; there really was little doubt after that...

Yeah, that's about it...nothing too major or dramatic, I'll admit.

spoiler (highlight to read):
It's a very strong thing to be so open and honest as to what one's sexual orientation is. Anyone who is narrow minded enough to think ill of it doesn't really deserve to live.

Chris, one of my closest friends last year admitted to being bisexual, and I was one of the only few people that accepted it...in fact, I didn't really care about it and/or pay much attention to it. Some people were actually naieve enough to look down on him for it, including his parents, which shows the true nature of man, in a sense.

I think it's very admirable that you are so honest about it. I definitely respect you for that, and like Scott said above, it's a shame if people (on this forum, or otherwise) are narrow minded enough to react negatively to it and judge you for it. Instead, they should think highly of you for having the courage to be open about it. Smile

Er...I really don't see the difference between this thread and the general confessions thread, except this one is just for addictions. If we were to subdivide confessions by focus, however, I really think we would have a few too many threads...

After all, we might as well have a thread for Romantic Confessions, then another thread for Health Confessions...there'd be no limit to the number of threads.

So, until GK, Krang, or Shredder can merge this with the Confessions Thread proper...

---
Which he's apparently done, so disregard this post.

Today I went to Wallgreens and picked up some "Nair For Men" and got rid of all the hair on my arms! Call me crazy, but it's one of the best things I've ever done! It feels and looks so nice! Just smooth, "sun"-tanned arms... I'm so pleased with the results, I'm *highly* considering getting rid of the hair on my legs, too! Laughing
