I used to be a pretty big stoner. However, I plan to put that behind me. I vow to never do drugs again; they might have a small but permenant effect on me. However, this saturday will mark my 2 month clean period.

Despite the fact that I will never admit this, and contradicts most everything I've said in regards to this subject....
I secretly want a tattoo.
There. I said it. I don't know why, because I've always said that while it'd be cool to have one for a while, it's just a phase I'd grow out of...that and everyone seems to have them these days; however, one morning I woke up and decided that I really wanted one.
I won't get one though. It's totally out of character for me! That and there's the risk of contracting hepatitis... |

If you do happen to get one (I doubt it), don't get one on your lower back. Every god damn girl these days has a tatoo on their lower back (right above their ass, to be specific), and ******** and I decided together that it could quite possibly contribute to the stupidity of people these days...

For the last 5 months( I thought it was 3 but now I realize it's 5) I have had what could only be described as an unhealthy obssesion with someone. I've figured out though how much time and energy this person has sucked out of me. Not to say I don't still love this person deeply. When they ask me about everything else in my life I have to answer "what everything else?" I've tried to get involved with other things. I'm taking classes and getting my own life. While part of me thinks that it would be better for me to forget this person ever existed, I can't do that. They are far too good friend to let go of. I can't let go of the past and don't intend to. I'm not sorry for anything that has happened and would do it all over again. They may think that I hate them, but I don't. I'm only hurt. That's all

Personally, this was how I use to be as well. I always thought about that 1 person I cared for, but in the end, I end up losing that person as a friend. Then I realized that it was happening to everyone that I cared for. So now, I simply stopped caring. I figured that I can't have that interfere with my life.

Ahhhh, but you see...
spoiler (highlight to read):
I can not and will not stop caring. I have friends now, something I haven't had for a while. I don't obsess over all of them. Just the one. I was willing to drop everything for this person. Everything...
spoiler (highlight to read):
I honestly don't like where my life is right now. I realized that I haven't made any friends at college at all, just acquaintences. None of the people I've met there care about me in the slightest bit. All of my friends from high school left and I barely talk to most of them anymore, and the only girl that ever really wanted me has been MIA for a month. I feel so completely alone and I don't see any signs of it getting any better. I don't think anybody would even notice if I dropped off the face of the earth completely.
and another
spoiler (highlight to read):
I was originally going to go to Penn State. But then another school gave me more money so I went there. But I hated it there and transfered to another school. I think that one decision ruined my entire life. I missed out on all the things you get to do as freshmen to make real friends at college and now I'm just some loser who sits on his computer on Friday nights instead of having fun.
spoiler (highlight to read):
I don't fit in anywhere.
spoiler (highlight to read):
All in all, college is adding up to one big dissapointment.
spoiler (highlight to read):
Is it ever going to get better? Or can I just expect to be rejected and alienated for the rest of my life?
spoiler (highlight to read):
What the hell is wrong with me? why can't I form any kind of a relationship with anybody?
spoiler (highlight to read):
I wish this were all just a dream, and that I'll wake up and be 10 again.
spoiler (highlight to read):
People are completely shallow. Nobody actually cares about anyone else. I'm sick and tired of it, people are only your "friend" when it benefits them. At least the few friends I had in high school actually cared.

Well of course your not going to meet anyone with that attitude.

Well, remember that, after college, there are still several jobs and several places you can meet people. Like say you meet a friend at work, he introduces you to a bunch of new people, then you get a girlfriend and stuff, and a lot of friends. It could happen, so don't just give up hope.

Yeah if that's what makes you feel better, tell yourself that.
Sorry about that. I realize it was pretty out of line, I was just really cranky. I actually feel a lot better now. Venting really helps.

So you dislike "empty superficial bastards". Yet you just made a generalization that the majority of people who go to bars (or, taking it a bit further, drink) fall into this category. This line of thinking is basically the DEFINITION of superficiality. Oh. And before anyone accuses me of trying to be hypocritical and preachy. I'm a bitter, snarky, generally unpleasent individual whos probably going to die while writing an angry letter to a county freeholder. Point is, pretty much everyone has some kind of personality defect.
I'd quote chapter and verse of the general dynamic between me and some members of my general cadre of friends/associates to back this up. But that would just be stilted, awkward, and pointless.
I'm not in college, but I can assume a rut like that is temporary. Also, this was supposed to be reassuring or something. But theres a reason I'd be fired from a greeting card company. Assuming I ever wanted to work at one. I'm not good with empathy.
|
Yeah I realize how bad that sounded. I think waht I meant was that I don't want to become a barfly...or something...I just don't feel like bars would exactly be my thing...yeah sorry for being an ass I'm just confused right now.
(and yes Sharpshooter you're right, I'm in a temporary rut and I have a major tendency to overestimate how deep they are)

I get very bothered or offended of some of the things people think about me,
spoiler (highlight to read):
Aside from my Grandparents (because they're so lively) I hate being around old people. I really don't want to grow into that. I rather die younger before becoming weak and old.
spoiler (highlight to read):
I hate fighting. And because of that, I sometimes let myself get slapped around because I'm afraid of getting into a fight, getting hurt, getting into trouble with the police, or getting suspensioned at school.
spoiler (highlight to read):
Aside from Keena/Midnightlight, I barely trust any of my friends. I have found out over the years they have lied, and used me. Some of my friends even hate being seen with me, or knowing me. I'm happy to be friends with Keena, because she is very trustworthy.

Why is it, so many guys want girls just for the size of their bust and bottom? I just want a pretty girl, that will love me for who I am, and what I do. I hate it when guys just want a girl because her breasts reach her knees.

The yaoi thing is mainly a joke. I kid, and kid with that. I like some shipping couples (I think it's umm, cute >.>;; ) but I don't like hard core yaoi/yuri stuff (I don't even like hentai!).

I joke around about homosexuality and yaoi too, in fact a lot of people hate me for it, I get kicked out of IRC channels for it, I've even been called a fag because I like to kid around about Yaoi. In reality I'm straight, I've had people [including a pcf member] try to convince me I'm bisexual before, but I know I'm straight, so I guess in the end I'm very confident of my sexuality.

Dude as a person who has been through a big move, I can say that a change of surroundings both geographically and/or the people you hang with can really change your attitude.
Remember people grow up, they mature, things change.
Sooner or later you'll find people/places that appeal to you.
