The Paradigm Confessional Thread

If any of you remember my previous signature, which you should because it has been gone for only 30 minutes, you may think I am just a rabid Batman fan, which I am. But besides that, I acutally believe in the ideaology of the Joker. If anyone read "The Killing Joke", he said in it that he had a bad day, and that is why he went mad. And he admits it, and is glad he went mad. I somewhat believe I went slightly mad one day, and that is why I now have my uplifting, laugh-at-anything attitude. But it is not a bad thing, though. Madness does define who we are.

Ah... Huh... Umm... Just let me know who and I'll unleash the entire Samurai Ewok Army upon them to extract swift yum yum justice!

Comforting thought, yes? Big Grin

Perhaps you can talk to your guidance counselor at school? They're already there and you're already there, so it shouldn't be too hard to make an appointment and talk to him/her without the whole school knowing. Plus, it's the best price in the world: Free. Smile If this is unacceptable, we're always here to listen/help as best we can.

Hmm... I suppose my confession for the day is that I am a MAJOR procrastinator. For some odd reason, I derive pleasure from putting off work until the last moment. Quality doesn't suffer substantially by this, but it does cause me problems when I'm around my family... But that is another confession for another day!

Same here. I just prefer wasting time on these forums and the others far corners of the Internet than doing homework. In fact, I am currently procratinating from a load of English homework!

I'm a terrible procrastinator. I mean...I owe work, frequently. The warped part is, I usually wind up doing at least fairly well in my classes (the teachers generally like me. And I like them. It sounds wrong somehow, but theres alot of mutual respect).

I got in trouble in my last two classes for talking. One of them is quite legit because I was just wise-cracking and I've been trying to stop, but the other was my web design class. The class is sooooo lame. He's spent two class periods now teaching us how to put pixel sizes in img tags. I helped the girl behind me finish fixing her page and I was telling her what she did wrong and the teacher started giving me that dumb evil eye garbage. No one in that class listens to him!!! You look at the laptops in the room and 95% of them are going to their various favorite web board! UGH!

I was in the wrong, I know, but still... Annoying (of course, my talking probably annoyed the teachers as well. The students don't care because they're all half-asleep anyway and probably don't even notice... Sigh.).

spoiler (highlight to read):
Yeah, I know. Big shock - I talk a lot. I'm only this bad when I'm comfortable in my surroundings or with the people I'm talking to. Also when I'm exhausted (ie. my morning classes when I'm not awake and my evening classes when I feel like falling asleep). I still need to quit doing it, I know. Oh Well

I really don't think my life has a purpose right now. But the reason I keep living is to find a purpose.

So I guess that means that the purpose of my life now is to find a purpose for my life. *head explodes*

You're either just making all this up or you're a stuck up rich kid. I don't believe you. Stop with the nonsense or else you'll get the thread closed.

I also think that "Almasy" is trying to get attention with his ticket b*llcr*p. Tickets are nothing compared to what's happened to some of the members on this forum.

Even though Almasy's ticket might not be the end of the world, this is still the Confessional thread. It's meant for posting Confessions that aren't general knowledge, and to not be mocked for it. Due to the personal nature of this thread, you'd think that there would be some manifestation of respect.

From now on, no more flames in this thread - no matter how much you don't like someone or how insignifigant you think their problem is. Besides, flaming in a topic where personal respect is damn near demanded just makes you look bad.
