"Cutting" is common against many people who suffer from depression. I know others that do it that are depressed and don't really have the intent of killing themselves. Shirly Manson of the band Garbage used to do it and opened up some sort of help line about it. Self inflicted wounds are not the way to go, man!

Have you ever asked yourself why you want to feel pain? I think you should evaluate your life. You will see there is more good than bad in it.

Honestly I don't know why I wanted to feel pain. I thought my life was great. Tomorrow, I won't be online at all. It's a me day. I need to figure out why I'm feeling the way that I'm feeling.

Don't worry too much about college. There are so many activities going on on-campus to welcome freshmen that you're bound to make at least a few friends.

I had these EXACT same fears when I went off to college (being an incredibly shy person), yet I managed to make a nice little niche for myself And you'll be surprised - I honestly don't have much time for socializing during the semester - I'm always busy with school work!

I wasn't a full-time student last semester just so I could have more time to socialize...but I never told my parents, nor did I inform the medical insurance company that I had dropped below a full course load (which would have resulted in my poicy being cancelled)

Whenever I'm angry or sad...I pour my heart out to a picture of Crawford...then something pops into my mind. Something Crawford says...like when my parents divorced, I poured my heart out to him. I told him everything I felt. ANd then...I thought of something Crawford had said once in the show. ANd it made me feel better. "You'll never "magically" get over it. The thought of death is an unpleasant one. I think about it on occasion and think what actually happens when we die...what happens to our thoughts, ourselves, what happens to us when we die. Do we continue to think? Do we just cease to exist altogether? Or are our (TONGUE TWISTER!) thoughts transfered to someone(s) else? I think so in depth that I nearly want to kill myself, ironically. It's a train of thought that I must look into despite my fear for one day I truely will find out what happens.
