If you'll notice, maybe 1 out of 10 released movies anymore ARE NOT a remake of something, a sequel, a spin-off, a "re-imagining," or else is based off a popular (video game, RPG, comic book, novel series, short story, porno, internet meme, insert various inappropriately stupid things here)....

It seems Creativity exists mainly IN picture books anymore, and their form of creativity is "just how far can we go and how strange can we get before the readers stop buying us?"

That's because since the 1950's (with the exception of the 1970's), films that have been released are clearly getting worse and worse.
