Wow, what a welcome. I don't think I've had this much of a response to a "hi, I'm new" post on any of the other boards I've been to. I guess Paradigm really knows how to roll out a red carpet. Thanks to all of you. And don't worry about my sanity. I think I left that a long time ago, and long before the door.
Thanks for the book. I'm not sure if I trust that whole "men are this, women are that" fad, but tell me, if human girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice, just what are android girls made of . . ?
I always have had a weakness for girls with cat ears . .

Any chance I could have the milk AND the flowers? It's been ever so long since I've had any fresh flowers around here. They'd really brighten things up.
Ettiquette is one of those things that makes society liveable. Courtesy makes most things better, and there's not a lot that it makes worse, so yeah, I'd agree with Heinrich, we could use more manners, couldn't we?
Wow, an extended German version of Dune -- the old version??? That's pretty cool. Wonder what Kyle Maclachlan is up to these days? I hear he plays quite the game of golf . . .
And a mole picture! The list just keeps going on. You know, Mattimeo, I saw a mole just the other day. It had come out of the ground on a median, between the sidewalk and the street, and tumbled into the gutter, where it was wandering around looking more than a little lost. They are pretty cute, with their odd little noses and all. The whole neighborhood was stopping to look at it. The mole, btw, did make it back safely to the underground. Little critters can dig, and fast, too.
Mmm . . .cider. That reminds me of an old friend of mine, who used to throw these smashing dinner parties. Good stuff.
Well, you're all being so hospitible, how shall I express my grattitude ... hmm ... well, I've got a cappucino machine, and some donuts, and there should be a bottle of shiraz around here somewhere. And then there's this nice bottle of cider here . . . so let's party!
Vermillion
P.S. If I happened to forget to mention a gift, please kindly overlook it, since it is nearly five o'clock in the morning . . . Again, thanks to all of you.
