Least Favorite Big?

I hate Big Duo Inferno. It and Alan are such posers, they're nothing compared to Big Duo and Schwarzwald.

I would have to go with Big-Duo. I like all of them and it would be cool to have any, but I just don't like the look of it. Big Duo Inferno looks much meaner.

Big O = COOL

Big Duo = BAD ASS!!

Big Fau = EVIL!!

Big Duo Inferno = ...Big Duo on drugs ~_~

Big Venus = It rewind yor @$$...

I thought Big Duo Inferno was hyper cool. I loved his fight and his litte flight mask is teh cool.

Big Venus on the other hand... *Sigh* Futuristic abilities have no place in Big O. Not to mention its design is totally unoriginal. Just Big O with a few modifications and an Inverted color scheme. Boooooring. Give me steam powered, city stompin' robots over some foolish "I can end the world" robot.

I don't like Big Fau...he's kinda dumb looking. And his head's too big. On the other hand, the megadeus from "Negotiations with the Dead" is really cool.

Big Duo Inpherno (Yes people, this is a correct spelling)

It was just a stupid little thing to make 'excited' about season 2. And it failed, it's battle sucked, and it didn't do shat for the plot.

Or you can use the english equivalent which is "Inferno" (like "Dante's Inferno").

Ah, no. 'Inpherno' is an Italian word for 'Hell'. It's not Engrish, sorry.

So far I don't have any love for Big Venus. I just think that the everything goes white and starts over again thing is a little over the top. I mean I've seen better battles when little kids play with barbies! Oh well if its for they story.

I so hate big Fau & big duo &the other big duo!!!

I dunno Big Duo was bad ass, but big duo inferno just tried to mimic its former glory.

I mean whats with the pink tint? and the lame new face, but it did look very cool when its face was blown off and the skeletal archetype face thingy underneath was revealed.

They were all very cool, especially the way they were specialized. If I have to vote against one though, its BIG VENUS, because it hasn't shown all its capabilities yet...I mean, it used to have wings. Big Duo Inferno (or Inpherno--nice point) was a nice addition. Can't beat Shwartzwald, but i mean, he's the man, so its understood. When Inferno got its head blown off like that it was incredible, although it was sort of mirroring the first Duo's destructon. I like the strange design quirks they throw in like Big Duo Inferno's weird face and flame job...they're done in the right way so as to ot be corny.

I wonder what BIG FAU would be if it were the version we saw in Season 1 memories. Anyways, I love the BIGs, and can't wait for BIG O to lay the smack down on Big Venus in an upcoming season (fingers crossed)...and for that matter, see what Venus can really do--afterall, it had some great firepower in the memory flashbacks--teeth lasers or something. To tell ya the truth, it'd be so amazing if Roger had to fight in a cataclysmic battle in the end to stop the Resets against armies of BIGs and megadei like in the memories...I mean, imagine Roger charging into battle with that sudden impact attack like on episode 14 but with the stakes even higher. BIG O in an all-or-nothing brawl, trying to bowl over the hordes of enemies.

BTW- have we determined what exactly Vera's Megadei was? Was it a BIG?

And speaking of BIGs, THE ARCHETYPE was technically an old BIG without its armor, right? I liked it, I thought it was a cool machine.

At first, I was going to vote Big Duo Inferno because I liked the original (Classic, even?) Big Duo so much - along with the episode #12 that he starred in - that the rebuilt Inferno version just seemed to me like a sequel that couldn't live-up to the excitement and awe of the original.
Plus, by that point, Rosewater had gotten his mitts on him and soiled his Rebel Megadeus with a Cause image and tried to turn him into one of his boys.

Schwarzwald would not be pleased.

However, the prize must go to Big Venus.
Reason?
The second half of #26 never sat too well with me, and Big Venus is - for me - a Megadeus-sized symbol of that discontent.
I believe I can understand the concept, but the execution stunk.

Other than that, she's totally cooooooooool.

I've always liked Big Fau the best. It has more long range guns.

I can't stand Big Venus, though. It appeared suddenly, right at the end, and made things even more weird and confusing then they already were.

How do you know the creators were aiming for 'Inferno'? As far as I know the term 'Big Duo Inpherno/Inferno' is never used in the show. But, in the Big O Visuals book it's name is listed as 'Big Duo Inpherno'. So the way I see it, the people at Sunrise called it 'Big Duo Inpherno', they didn't spell 'Inferno'. It don'st matter if 'Inferno' is the English equivalent, they spelt it 'Inpherno'. If a fan says 'Big Duo Inferno' and the creators say 'Inpherno', I would go with the ones who CREATED the series. Not some random fan who still don'st totally understand Big O. And you shouldn't roll your eyes. It's rude.

Yes, Schwarzwald is the man... BUT BIG DUO INFERNO/INPHERNO is not a bad BIG. I mean, it provided Roger with one of his more interesting challenges in Season 2. Gotta give some props to it. Just my opinion. I enjoyed it rearing its devilish head to battle Roger...and Rosewater set Alan up for the fall anyways, so it was sort of ironic. And as for Alan...With Schwarzwald absent most of the time as a 'prophet wandering the desert' it was good to have some extra villain character. It provided something new. But personally I don't beleive Schwarzwald is done-for just yet. He'll rise again I say.
