People who whine about OEL manga obviously have never read No Man's Land. My sister and I absolutely adore that comic, and I recommend it wholy.

I see why now Monster has generated so much acclaim here in PCF. Even half way through the first volume, I already could tell it was beyond most mangas I have ever read! I can't wait until more of it comes out!

Yu Yu Hakusho Vol. 9 Manga

Just got AIR: The Motion Picture [Special Edition] today for a very good price. Comes with the movie, a drama CD, and an orchestra arrangement CD. The movie may not be as good as the TV series, but it's still worth buying, in my opinion.

Heat Guy J Volume 1 and Trigun Volume 6 came in the post today.

Sadly, the last anime I bought was the Sonic the Hedgehog Movie on DVD.

I plan on being the extended Akira on DVD, as well as a few others when I get the money, such as Urotsukidoji, Bible Black, Ah My Goddess, Mahoromatic, Gundam MS 08th Platoon, and others. Usually, though, I only buy anime movies, as keeping the habit up (in manga and Anime) with purchasing large volume sets and series can get wallet-breakingly expensive. (hint: Dragonball, Dragonball Z, and Dragonball GT. A friend of mine is currently trying to buy all Dragonball related manga and anime, including movies.)

I suppose some of the movies I'd like to get would include.... Hmm... Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. Good movie, nice animation, and the English version has Patrick Stewart as a voice actor.

Unfortunately, that's all I can think of for right now... If anyone has any other suggestions for good anime and anime movies especially, PM me, or just reply to this. I'm always interested in others' thoughts or ideas.

On Saturday I picked up Samurai Champloo manga v. 1 and 2 and also picked up Beautiful People.

Then I picked up the third Inuyasha movie and bought an Ed patch and a Roy patch ^__^

Not much on the anime front - I have most of the anime that I want for right now, so I switching over the manga. That of course would change if they made season three of Big O, in which case it would become a priority. My recent anime-life style based purchases, however:

The only anime I want right now it the last volume of Gundam Seed, Fullmetal Alchemist (which I'm waiting until the prices go down - could take a year or two) - and then Blue Gender.

Awww! That's the same one I have, too! I remember I was looking all over for a proper Jigen, and that one was the coolest looking.

I haven't any purchases lately, but soon-- VERY soon-- I will be up to my ears in anime merchandise after I plunder my way through Anime Central 2006! My goal this year is to get... a tachicoma.
