Recent Anime Purchases

Ordered all of Dororon Enma-kun on DVD. About $230, there goes all of my birthday money! I'm really looking forward to it, afterall it is Go Nagai!

Although I wonder if I should've gotten the Majokko Megu box instead...

Demons, Go Nagai, Awesome theme songs, Fanservice, Ecchi humor or..

Magical Girls, Shingo Araki, Misty Honey cameo, Non, Ecchi humor..

I recently got my first anime DVD: Revolutionary Girl Utena The Rose Collection 1

I already knew most of the plot, so I was excited to finally see it for myself. Vol 1 is a great start for the anime, although it does get dark in subsequent volumes.

GaoGaiGar FINAL OVA 1-8

8 episodes for $20 on one dvd of an AWESOME Supe Robot show. Perfect. A good super robot series that does for 90's - 2000's what Mazinger Z did for the 70's. Ufortunately, since America prefers crying teenager pilots to hot-blooded badass pilots. GGG has not been brought to the states, yet (it sounds better in Japanese anyways). Definately recomended (especially to you Naojiro)

But we need our ANGST!!!1111, if we didn't have angsty and hawt male leads what would us poor fangirls do?

My latest anime purchase was....Elfen Lied....I've only wathced the first episode and its...gory.

An English dub? Dude I want one, the sub was so confusing at times, and Ishikawa sounded like he was even more drunken and grumpier than usual.

Actually they figured that one out before hand and made most of the leads your usual pretty boy/girl design.

Picked up Tsubasa v. 8 as well as Doubt!! v. 3. I would have bought more but Border's was closing

I'm on the last volume, very fun series. Unique, cute, and fun with a hint of horror.

I should say. I watched a couple of episodes...it seemed like it could have been better.

I have just recieved word that I'll be getting my order of the two Black Jack DVD Collections soon. It's been a while since I've seen the OVA, so I look forward to that.

Dynamic Heroes is the best thing. ever. It's a cross-over manga between Go Nagai's series from the 70's. A must have if you love Go Nagai's stuff. I never read/watched Moon Phase before, but the book was a dollar, and the main character was dressed like Ranze from Tokimeki Tonight's ending, so I bought it. Toki*Meca! is a new manga by Naoko Takeuchi (The creator of Sailor Moon) it's very cute and hyper.

The VHS for Pokemon are the only legal way to get the first season in Japanese. They also come with stickers! I got the banned episode where James/Kojiro has fake breasts. Pokemon is alot funnier in Japanese. XD
