Recent Anime Purchases

Evangelion Platinum DVD 1, 4, 5, and 7. Now all I need to do is find 3 and 6 somewhere.

Rurouni Kenshin vol. 21, it keeps getting better and better. I am dying for vol. 22 and Iwanbo Savage Mode.

Picked up Ayashi no Ceres v. 11 and v.12. So sad T__T

Got my two singing "Harmony Honey" dolls in from Rinkya. Singing Kisaragi Honey, and Cutey Honey! I'm already displaying my Kisaragi Honey doll with the rest with my collection, I'm sending Cutey Honey to my niece.

Both are extremely good and highly recomended.

Today I picked up Saikano v. 7 (*sniffles* It's over...), Ayashi no Ceres v. 13 (*sniffles* One more till IT'S over...), and Descendants of Darkness v. 8 (Uh...I'm not sure if it's over or not @_@)

Christmas brought many great additions to my anime collection- such as:
-Robotech: Protoculture collection
-Trigun-volume 2
-Cowboy Bebop the Movie
-Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam volumes 1&2.

Got Kikaider 02 at Barnes and Noble. Too bad the art is ugly.

Got Barefoot Gen dvd throught the post today.

I'm in Neon Genesis mode at this moment so I stopped by Borders and I copped the first five volumes of the Evangelion manga. Pretty damn good stuff, before I read them, I couldn't put them down.

Highly recommended, although you might feel a notion of depression ...

You said it. I wish that the original Kikaider with Ishinomori's art could be translated into English. I've seen the scans of the original Kikaider manga from the 70s on the Web. I can follow the action somewhat with the art, but it would sure be nice to understand what's being said.

Ha, you and me both. Just picked up the 3rd Platinum DVD so I finally have the whole series. It was weird because that was all I needed and it was like the only new one they put on the shelf at my local movie store this week.

Gall Force: Eternal Story
World of Narue DVD box set
Fuma Conspiracy DVD (what can I say: I've been on sort of a Lupin kick.)
Original Dirty Pair OVA DVD collector's set.

I'm still going through Narue and I haven't even started on the Dirty Pair yet.

Witch Hunter Robin Volume 5

Both UK dvds.

Today Devilman Volume 3 (Final) came in today. This is a pretty fun series, although no where near as awesome as Cutie Honey. The overall packing of the release in'st as good as the other Go Nagai shows ethier.
