Re: Cutie Honey boxset, which was a bit of a letdown for me. It's great for someone buying the series for the first time, but it's not really worth double dipping for. The best thing about it was the bonus audio drama, since it's a huge crossover with all the Cutie Honey series!

Also I got a DVD featuring animation credits for Toei's series from the 60's and 70's. Pretty cool DVD, but the picture and audio quality in'st too good.

Got my first paycheck, and as a gift to myself I bought this bad boy:


A max Gohkin Mazinkaiser, cost the whole check but damn was he worth it. This sucker is nearly all Die-Cast at least a good 90%. The sharp points on his wings and the sharp swords makes this thing far from a kids toy. If ya got the scratch to spare for one, a Go Nagai fan, or just want a kick ass robot. Definately get this guy.

I bought the AIR original soundtrack on Ebay. It's basically the music from the computer game and the TV show, which in my opinion is excellent. I look forward to receiving it soon.

I bought the Descendants of Darkness (Yami no Matsuei) vol. 7 and 8! Yay me! And I also bought XXX HoLic and X/1999 Prelude! Yay me! lol.

Also the Fullmetal Alchemist Vol. 4 DVD. ^_^

My little sister bought Cardcaptor Sakura: Master of the Clow Volume 5 and gave it to me when I came home for Thanksgiving. Now I just need to get voumes 4 and 6 and I'll have the whole second series!

I recently bought a How to Draw Manga Book its the how to use Copic Markers and color with them it was interesting.

My shipment from Rinkya came in today. I got Ken Ishikawa's Cutey Honey & Flash manga, and a Cutey Honey doll for my niece. (Hopefully she can get it by Xmas). I wish Rinkya didn't take so long with shipping, I've been waiting for this package for like, forever. Ken Ishikawa's adaption of Cutey Honey is pretty good, I'm interested in seeing his other works now.

Also, I got the rest of Cutie Honey: Legend of an Angel a few days ago. Problemly the best Cutie Honey manga series, although the ending sucks. So much build up, then.. nothing. Go Nagai, I love you man, you're a genius but seriously...

Can you give atleast ONE series a good ending?!

Ayashi no Ceres v. 8-10. So sad...

While i was in HMV today i got Yu Yu Hakusho vol 4 and while i was queuing up to pay for it i noticed something in there impulse buy area (in other words shelves near the tills). The Nightmare Before Christmas manga! Its a pretty much straight adaptation of the film, but the art is so pretty!

I also got some manga in Blackwell's 3 for 2 offer:

Cromartie High School vol 3 (i swear the covers on this are getting weirder and weirder)

It's been a good while since I last bought a DVD.
