Recent Anime Purchases

Well, I went to Anime Boston over the weekend, so it was an excuse to splurge a little on anime purchases.

The free models I got on BOGO, so I only paid for the CGUE and the Dias. The Z'Gok and Gundam I bought tonight at Wal-Mart on discount for 10 bucks a piece, but I'm counting them as part of my overall AB haul.

The case came free with the game curtesy of Best Buy

I've had Emerald for less than 40 hours and I've already got 10 hours logged in the game. I love my water pokémon and my new cute naming systems (fighting pokémon are named for fruits, flying for 'hello' in different languages, and ghost pokémon are named for members of the Bluth family). I love Best Buy for giving me a case I wouldn't have bought in a million years. It has a velcro strap that I can attach to the strap of my purse!

No problem I will post them her on monday since I have been cleaning my room franticly trying to put the figures in a great place where everyone can see it. also, I got Case Closed: Case 4 box set with Fullmetal Alchemist yesterday from the post...

Last night I went to Best Buy for the anime sale.

Last Thursday I picked up World's Most Wanted vol. 5. Great volume, though I notice it’s a little bit taller than all the rest of the books in the series (or any of my Tokyopop books for that matter) which is kind of annoying. But whatever...

I was also able to pick up a copy of Lupin III: Island of Assassins! It wasn't quite as good as Dead or Alive but it's definitely up there. I really enjoyed the opening credits in this one, which is a highway chase scene between Lupin and the assassins. Very, very nice.

And lastly, the other day I received my doujinshi. All of which are Lupin related. Yay! ^.^
They're all great but I spent every last penny I had on them. Shipping EMS from Japan is so expensive...I think this last order alone was thirty-three bucks. Ouch.
