Recent Anime Purchases

Got Magical Meow Meow Taruto Volume 1:A Magic Cat throught the post today, and picked up the first volume of the Fruits Basket manga and the Ghost in the Shell manga (2nd edition, with the cut stuff added back)

In the last month I've bought

1.) The FMA starter set
2.) Pokémon Master Quest 2
3.) Pokémon the sixth movie
4.) Chobits in Japanese (from a used bookstore)
5.) And just today Ranma 1/2 vol. 1

The short on the pokémon movie is worth the price alone. It's called 'Gotta Dance', it's basically Meowth's movie. He's got this little wand that makes Pokémon dance and well, it's just hilarious. I actually got up and danced to it. ::bows head in shame:: But Polka a Dolka is so additive, even the bastardized english version is intrancing, I couldn't help it.

I borrowed a couple Ranma books from the library and decided to buy the first volume. It's crazy, in one of the volumes there's this chick who wants to go out with this friend of Ranma's. Ranma's friend is actually a girl, but then it turns out the chick who wants to go out with her only likes girls, and after Ranma (female version) and the girl have a contest to see who gets to go out with Ranma's friend it turns out that the chick is actually a guy XD How can you not love that?

I bought the Outlaw Star box set and it came in the mail all I have to say is Kewl!!!!!!

I just recently got the last two volumes of Pet Shop of Horrors Manga! ^_^"" Weee! I really just love Count D! ^_^""

I got a Menchi plusie!! Must resist temptation to eat him....

(warning, you will have to have watched Excel Saga to have got that joke)

Wow, the Pokemon Master Quest covers look pretty good. Really makes up for the not-so-great artbox. Cool stuff Dork.

I finally got some DVD's! lol (I'm so lame....)

Anyway, over the past month or so, I've gotten:

-The second InuYasha movie
-1,2, and 6 of the Bebop DVD's
-The first InuYasha movie

And hopefully more are on the way

I bought the Tokyo Bablyon OVA last Saturday...but I got the one with this cover...



The animation is a bit aged, and the dub can get annoying but I really loved it ^_^



As for manga, last Saturday I bought:

1. X/1999 v. 17
2. Hyper*Rune v. 2
3. Galaxy Angels v. 4
4. Desendant's of Darkness v. 3

I haven't purchased any new anime since I pre-ordered the Zeta Gundam boxset last year. I have, however, recieved anime as gifts.

Preordered the JP R2 Sailor Moon S vol 7. Should get the first press item when it comes out (art box)


March will be pretty empty for me, aside from some stuff from TRSI that i ordered this month.

Not precisely anime, but:

- Reboot V.4.0 (Double movie: Daemon Rising and My Two Bobs)

- Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers The Movie / Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie double DVD

I just bought Shura No Toki Vol. 1. Pretty cool show and for an NYAV post dub it's actually good.

Earlier this evening, I placed an order on RightStuf.com for the first Super Dimension Fortress Macross DVD mini boxset, containing volumes one through three.

Im guessing you got it from CDjapan too? I only had 100 points, but it was enough to take the edge of the shipping costs so that it wouldnt fall foul of the UKs tight Custom fee limit.

Yep. For my Region 2 orders, I use CDJapan 99 percent of the time.

My vol. 1 of Mobile Suit Gundam came yesturday. I've watched 4 of the 5 episodes, and it seems like all the White Base crew does is fight Char! It is getting annoying... I sure hope they expand the villains more later.
