Recent Anime Purchases

I got my Cutie Honey BGM Collection CD today! ^^

I was kinda dissapointed at the artwork. The cover is very bland, but the lovely picture of Honey makes up for it. But, the back, the booklet, and the CD itself don't have any pictures. It's a shame, I thought the reissue would be the same as the oringial. The orinigal release had Kisaragi Honey on the back, and the booklet had screens from the TV series. Oh well.

The music is awesome! Aside from the Cutey Honey opening (TV edit) and Foggy Night of Honey (TV edit) all the tracks are background non-vocal music. The music score in Cutey Honey is truly amazing. Catchy, smooth, and even beats Lupin's funky 70's music.

Also, Anime Jungle has a sale going on, and I just ordered the New Cutey Honey LE box. It's a digipak, that folds out to a very, very, sexy cover. ^^

Sadly, they had the Cutie Honey boxset, 20% off. I was going to buy it, and my mom would pay the difference, (she didn't get me anything for my b-day) Well, when we went to order it, the box was gone. Not 'sold out', but gone. no trace of it on the site. I nearly fell down and cried when I saw this. I don't think I'll ever have that box. ; . ;

Well, I didn't quite purchase it myself, but I got Lunar Legend Tsukihime Vol. 2: Lunar Dance as part of payment for basically being my friend's chauffer.

This arrived in the mail today. A Mobile Suit Gundam Arch Enemy GAT-X105 Aile Strike Gundam that I ordered off eBay last week. This figure is very articulate; I had a ball posing it for the photo shoot.

Bayblade G Revolution volume 5

I only bought it to support the uncut release.... (i really have to wonder how much could be cut out of bloomin Beyblade though)

I bought the Char's Counterattack special edition, and vol. 1 of Gundam 0080- both of which are great.

Oh! I got my Shin Cutey Honey Complete Pack today in the mail!



I really like it more than the ADV release. The packaging is clearly ALOT more attractive (and sexier...hehe..) than the ADV release, the picture is a bit better, and it has more character designs, a one more extra. Plus, it comes with a 'Stage 9' audio drama. I'm listening it to it right now. I can barely make out anything, but I get a few things. Sadly, it seems like the story is STILL unfinished. I didn't hear any mention of Panther Zora anywhere (unless she was Christmas Rose) but oh well. The last part was cute, Honey gives Chokkei a present.

It takes place during Christmas time, Honey remebers the deaths of her father and Natsuko, and the villain's name is Christmas Rose or something..

I also got my Animenominous! magazine that features Cutey Honey. I was a bit upset by it, since all the pictures were ripped from the Cutey Honey Roman Album, and it barely gives any info. Yet the Dragon Ball section has a crap load of pictures and information. Ah well.

I got Kekko Kamen yesterday. XD

That has to be the dumbest, yet one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life. Great pardoy of superhero genres though. And I can't say the idea IN'ST original. Do you think Batman would run around only wearing a mask, gloves, and boots? Exactly.

The songs were catchy, and even more perverted than the Cutie Honey theme. Also, I noticed two cameos, one of our red head heroine, and everyone's favorite homosexual teacher.
