Suncoast amazingly enough had a sale on FLCL...

All 3 volumes, $25 each. And I also got the first soundtrack! (Too bad they'll never release the second over here. )

Yep. The 3 boxes so far have had Wing Gundam, Altron Gundam and Wing Zero. Either the 4th or 5th has Tailgeese in (Cant remember which one it was )

each box has 2 of the separately available dvds in.

I FINALLY bought the Gundam F91 Special Edition. 2 Discs of sheer Gundam goodness! It is freaking awesome!

Take a listen to teh director's commentary on disc 2. Some bits are really funny.

Over the weekend I ordered quite a few things.

I ordered a reissue of the original Cutey Honey OST. It was pretty cheap, and when I saw 'OUT OF PRINT' on CDJapan's site, I nearly freaked. Thankfully, Yesasia has proven it can be useful. Too bad the stuff don'st ship till 2/4...

Also, my two Cutie Honey books from Mitsuwa came in, and should ship out to me soon. I ordered the original Cutie Honey 70's manga, and a reissue of a Cutie Honey Roman Album. I also ordered, or rather thought I ordered the Re: Cutie Honey perfect book, but alas, it seems the clerk guy forgot to order it. Boo. And I doubt I'll be going to Kinokuniya anytime soon.

Oh yea, and I'm bidding on an issue of some old Anime Magazine on Ebay. Only because the coverarticle is Cutey Honey. (the original series!)

I got my books in the mail today! They were so worth the 30 dollars. The Cutie Honey 70's book is the whole original Cutie Honey manga collected into one huge book! I could'nt believe how big it was! The manga is really different from the anime. More nudity, violence, and kinky jokes. Somethings really suprised me.

At the end of the manga, Zora blows up the Panther Claw HQ, vowing for revenge. While in the anime, as far as I know, Honey never faces Zora or anything. Also, not only is Natsuko killed during the Panther Claw attack on the school (like in the anime) but so are Ms. Miharu and Alphonne! I couldn't believe it! And it was real nasty, their heads went flying..

The Roman Album of Cutie Honey is really awesome! It has 'episode guides' for episodes 1, 12, and 25 (final). They include lots of screencaps from each episode, and captions. The book has a pinup poster of Honey transforming, which is so pretty!



They also have character designs, early production art, artwork by Go Nagai, etc. The main good points were the toy guide, and the episode guide! I'm so happy I got this! Now for my CD to come in the mail..

As for me I finally got the first volume of Pokémon Advanced. I've been buying these DVDs it seems simply for the sake of buying them. The Hoenn episodes have not been my favorite episodes, but a couple days ago I got the last two volumes of the season (there's still another Hoenn season after that). Volume seven was really funny, so when I swung by Best Buy last night and they had the first volume I picked it up ^_^

I just won an auction on eBay for a Mobile Suit Gundam Arch Enemy GAT-X105 Strike Gundam 1/100 figure. It should arrive by next week.

As for me, I got in the mail just last week the Rurouni Kenshin perfect collection! (Imports are a beautiful (and cheap!) thing.) And the movies, all of 'em. I have the complete Rurouni Kenshin experience and I'm loving every second of it.

And I got first season Sailor Moon. Old school cute.

Yes there is. I've seen Cutie Honey, New Cutey Honey, and Re: Cutie Honey, and there are very fun shows. It's really alot like Sailor Moon. However, it's a bit more mature, more violence, nudity, etc.

Personally, I like Cutie Honey because of the fact she's a kickass heroine, not just because the shows are filled with nudity.

Today I went to Best Buy to find a gift for someone, when I came across the Collector's Edition of Fullmetal Alchemist Vol.1. I went and bought that today. It was at a good price, too, compare to some of the internet stores. I really like the box, and it comes with the first OST also.

Oh, i almost forgot that i got some manga today, Battle Vixens vol 4 and , Excel Saga vol 4 and Yu-Gi-Oh! vol 7

I went to Suncoast and bought Rave Master Vol.1 and an Akira Capsule toy.
