Recent Anime Purchases
I just stole the first Escaflowne dvd from the anime club here. Why? Because I borrowed it for a month and they never decided to call me back about it.

No new anime for me for awhile, though Rave Master vol 1, Shaman King (uncut) vol 1 and 2 and Yu-Gi-Oh! (uncut) vol 1 and 2 all recently shipped
Cant wait to see Shaman King/Yu-Gi-Oh! as they should be seen
EDIT- Dad just preordered me the limited edition Gundam Movie pack which comes out on November 9th (has The Movie Trilogy/Char's Counterattack/Miller's Report)
I have just bought the 3 season 2 big o dvds. i'm workin on finishing my pilot canidate manga collection and looking around for some decent big o action figures that i can not seem to find. *sighs* i need a raise in my allowance. 
I was all eager to pick up Last Exile Vol. 6 (penultimate edition!) this Tuesday at Best Buy, but it wasn't there!

Overall I'm pretty happy with everything. Ebichu was quite a pleasant surprise, very funny. It's kind of cool to see what they're able to air on television in Japan (though I think Gainax was trying to push the limits a little bit).
And I'm glad I finally got to polish off the Lain series. I caught it during its run on Tech TV but I missed the last and first two episodes (I missed the last episode of Boogiepop Phantom on that run as well). XP
But most importantly, I finally got to watch some Lupin movies. The best out of the three was definitely Cagliostro (my new favorite Miyazaki film). I laughed, I cried...not that I'm a wussy or anything, it...it was the music. Yeah, that's it.
Dark Order was pretty good as well, there were some funny moments (Lupin takes out a small army with chewing gum), I also liked the character designs for this movie, it was something different anyway.
As for Pycal...what a horrible misuse of CG, at some points it even seemed more interested in showing off the effects rather than focusing on the actual story (which was lacking to begin with). Not that the film was absolutely horrible, I was just kind of disapointed. I recommend it to fans but there isn't much content here.

If you mean episode 12 you didnt miss much. It was really a tie up some small loose ends sort of episode (apprently the main plot line is finished in episode 8
)Anyway ROD the TV vol 3 came through the door today., plus i got Mahromatic volume 1 today, but the dvd was loose in the box so ive gotta go and return it (skipped slightly in episode 2)
edit: took it back to the HMV in harlow. Didnt have in stock, but they ordered it for me and will do the replacement then
