[Question] # of pics in sig trouble

Umm...I tried putting in a third pic into my sig and I got an error saying that I couldn't do it.

Now this is just strange because R.Smith's sig (no offense) has 5 pictures, and yet I'm getting errors by trying to just put in a third?!? O_o

Are you exceeding the character limit?

It's only at 295. So its close, but no cigar. It only say "too many images in signature", no "Over the character limit" with it.

Still it's less than 300 and if you count the evil smile it's still only 4 images. *glares at R.Smith's 5*

Try placing the image to the right and not below and see if it works?

I'd then get complaints about it stretching peopl's screens and all that sh*t. :-/
I even got complaints from when I was using my Vash and (earlier) my Monty Python banners!!

Well, I mean it in the sense of, "If you do that, will it not give an error?" Not as in actual use.

Well, what I meant, was remove the colors of your text, size, etc. Then see if it works.

update...having made sacrifices I've figured out how to get it to show the picture.

But I am still very much confused. Why can I only have 2 pics in my when others (like R.Smith!!! ) can have 5 or even 8???!!? (We both remember him [R.Smith] having 8 at one time)

What? Really? I didn't think they really streched the page out.....really?....

yes really X_x;; It's worse than even my Monty Python banner (and that was pretty big) It's the bottom two pics mainly. Maybe just a couple of resizes down will fix it

Ok, ok, i didn't really want to resize it because i wanted not to loose quality, so i'm just not going to use the two side images.

That's because the number of sig pics for regular users is limited to 2 to prevent abuse. Mods and admins don't have that limit because it's not necessary. I might consider increasing the limit for the Forum Veterans group, though.

hmm sounds reasonable (don't help me much o.o) but now this explains why R.Smith can have so many damn pics

R. Smith I am at 1024x728 and the page only streched for 3 Asuka pics side by side. 2 worked fine. The problem is those who use the 800x600 res and lower.
