A-ha! I like Manji's ideas.

Of course, that's expected of the one who helped come up with the Legendary Member/2,500 post rank...
I'm starting to favor something like this:
- 0- New Member
- 5- Starting Member
- 15- Junior Member

- 50- Member

- 100- Senior Member

- 250- Advanced Member
- 500- Super Member

- 750- Honored Member

- 1,000- Ultimate Member

- 1,500- Supreme Member

- 2,500- Divine Member

- 5,000- Legendary Member

- 10,000- Immortal Member

Added what the full rankings would look like.

Any of the three work, in my opinion. The difference with the first two comes with swapping Super Member and Honored Member; while I think Honored Member might sound like it would be higher than Super Member, personally, I believe that in order to keep the logical progression Honored Member should come before Super Member. Either way I believe it works, but I'd have to favor the second set over the first.
The third set is different, as it doesn't introduce Honored Member at all; instead, it bumps Ultimate Member down to 750, and Supreme Member to 1,000 (no argument that Supreme beats Ultimate). Mystic is then added as the 2,500 post count. What I like about the third set is that each grouping of stars has a theme; the first has a "regular" feel to it, while the second has a "super" or "heroic" feel to it, while the last has a "legendary" or "godly" or even "mythical" feel to it.
So if I had to choose, it'd be a tough call between the second and third scales I submitted...
In any case, I feel Legendary Member needs to be pushed back to the second-to-last ranking in any case, because it is (at least in my opinion) the most prestigious rank one can bestow short of making them immortal (which takes the last rank

)

Now that I'm thinking about it, in my third listing, I think it might be wise to replace "Advanced Member" with "Honored Member." I personally always had a problem with "Advanced Member;" I'm not quite sure why. I think "Honored Member" sounds a lot more prestigious, and works well as a set-up for Super, Ultimate, and Supreme.

I hope no one minds that I deleted this list's first appearance and posted it on the tail end, but since I made so many edits, I'm not sure everyone saw them because of how late I made them. Rather than making four different posts for them all, I merged them into one.

R and D, I think it's already been decided that there
probably will be more user titles, and the Forum Legend usergroup (where you can customize your name) has already been pushed back to 1,500 posts (and being a member for five months). By the way, Krang himself already suggested that, if we add more ranks, the easiest thing to do would be to add one at 750 posts, and start new stars from 2,500 to 10,000. However, in order to end with four stars at 10,000, one more rank is needed beyond the 5,000 rank that we more or less agreed would be the next step from 2,500: I propose 7,500. It works quite well in the new progression (100, 250, 500, 750, 1,000, 2,500, 5,000, 7,500, 10,000...)
I think it's perfectly reasonable to have these new ranks and stars. Perhaps some people aren't satisfied with five silver stars. Perhaps some people would rather have the default titles over their custom title. Perhaps some people don't like seeing their names in silver. There's plenty of justifiable reasons for why this issue was brought up, I think. Not saying I endorse any of them, but those are some that come to mind.
