Well, I can take care of making it go just once, or however many times people want it to go. So, yeah, just tell me.

There's no way to just delay the blink time? An infinite amount of blinks done in a reasonably slow time isnt that bad, right??

That would drive me mad.

Hey, R. Smith, try ten and let's see how that looks Smile

Ok, I'll make both. Smile -btw, ten what? Ten seconds per frame, ten seconds between blinks? Confused

Ok, here's what I got:

10 seconds per frame:

45 seconds at the first and last frame, 10 seconds all other frames:

100 seconds at the first and last frame, 10 seconds all other frames:

Second from the top on your attachment stars.

Becuase Krang said he didn't want anything too dark becuase it would be hard to see, but that silver was reserved for the forum vets, so we'll go with the next best color.

The lightish grey....

This one isnt that bad, plus, cant you add time if its too fast and blinky anyway? there's a delay which shouldnt be too bothersome...

Are you sure those aren't Milliseconds or tenths of a second? :-/ With Ulead it isn't "seconds"...

It absolutely must be milliseconds. It would be absurd any other way.

I dunno, doesn't this idea seem a little selfish?

I mean......it seems like you want another rank just so everyone else can see how much time you've wasted here. Roll Eyes

I'm fine with the new ranking system. It gets the job done, and it's Big O related. However,if you feel you need yet another rank to make you feel like a real man,or whatever,by all means go for it.Smile

Bluw Crow the new ranks are there Wink THey've been there for a week now I think...we're just arguing/debating/killing each other over what star to use in the upper ranks.

Ok, since it seems that most people don't like the green stars, there are still issues with the blinking stars, and I want to get these ranks finished as soon as possible, I think it would work out best if we used one of Evan's black stars. I think shade 2 () shows up the best without being too bright, so that's my choice. Does that sound ok to everyone else?
evanASF27 06-30-2004 11:49 PM
SOUNDS GOOD kRANG!

(whoops O.o; caps lock >.<;; )

The shade 2 black star looks good to me.

Zola 07-01-2004 01:38 AM
That looks fine to me, too.

R. Smith, by ten, I meant set the animation for ten loops and end it. Sorry I wasn't clear. Smile
Zopwx2 07-01-2004 02:28 PM
S'aright!
Krang 07-01-2004 10:02 PM
Thanks for your opinions. Since it seems most people agree, I went ahead and put up the new stars. Any further questions or comments about the new ranking system can be posted in this thread.

I can barely see the black stars under the username.
The grey background makes it blend in too much. Perhaps a white outline for the black star would work?
evanASF27 07-01-2004 10:16 PM
hmm...he *is* right >.> ... <.< ...it would either need to be darker (the original 'light' black) or maybe the next shade up (shade 3 i think).

(Thank god I made two others! ^^)
