Not really. But here's an interesting tidbit of Lord of the Rings information...

Tolkien stated, in the appendix of Return of the King, that the hobbits had their own language at one time. Of course, it died out thousands of years ago and was forgotten after the Numenorians came to Middle-earth. There were still some remnants of it in thier everyday lexicon, however; for example, names. When translated, Sam's full name, Samwise, would mean "half wise."

-__-;;

Sigh.

So in short, my name is sort of a little, pathetic fanasty of mine. I love Sam so much that I wish I were married to him! Pleased Then, I'd be Mrs. Samwise Gamgee ("Mrs." being an abbreviation of "mistress")!

Him or Aragorn. But I want a man who can do everything I can't, like cook and clean and not light the house on fire, and do it all like he's rather glad to. As far as I know, Aragorn doesn't love to clean the kitchen or pull weeds. O.o Besides, I can fit Sam into the smaller cage than Aragorn. Big Grin

I am not much of a "leet" appreciator.

According to Webster's, minion is
a. a servile follower or subordinate
b. a minor official
c. a favored person

Since you're on PCF, it's apparent to me that definition c fits you best!

Pygmalion

P.S. For being easy to remember and distinct, I give it 9/10.
Hienrich Ele 06-23-2004 01:15 AM
Pygmallion. I remeber hearing what it means, but forgot. Which is funny because I usually remember what peoples usernames mean.

So, for making me forget, and sounding cool, I give it a 9/10, and not a 10 because I am not that nice! Big Grin

Hienrich Ele: Pretty original, 9/10

...Guess I wouldn't feel really complete if I didn't do all the "Rate the___" threads Big Grin .

Mistress-Samwise: Nice Smile . It's different, I'll give you that, but I don't know what else to say about it, so...9/10

Trisa: It's almost like one of those names that misleads others into thinking you are the opposite gender Laughing . Good stuff Smile . 9.5/10

xana_fea: Has a calm, almost country air to it. Hey look, as long as you're not another "Big O variation", it's very likely that you'll get something above at least an 8.5 out of me Smile . 9/10.
dominusofdeath 06-23-2004 09:57 PM
Stryder: Reminds me of Stride-Rite. The kiddie shoe company.
Ahhhhh fond memories. 9/10

Trisa: Pretty. Reminds me of Sailor Pluto's American name. 9.9/10

xana_fae: I wonder what inspired you to create this name. Very unique. 8/10

Stryder: For some reason I always read your name as "Snyder", and one of my good friends' last names was Snyder. Anyway, 9/10.

PaladinAlexanderAnderson: And I thought MY username was long. Pretty striking, though. 8/10

snakemarcato13: Interesting . . .but I don't like snakes, and thirteen is the unlucky number so they say. 9/10 for originality, although . . .I wonder what the thirteen is for.
