Not really. But here's an interesting tidbit of
Lord of the Rings information...
Tolkien stated, in the appendix of
Return of the King, that the hobbits had their own language at one time. Of course, it died out thousands of years ago and was forgotten after the Numenorians came to Middle-earth. There were still some remnants of it in thier everyday lexicon, however; for example, names. When translated, Sam's full name, Samwise, would mean "half wise."
