Tetsu - Japanese for Iron

Deinonychus - Type of Dinosaur (like a small raptor)

Mach-2 - It's really a speed measurment, but I use it as a referrence to Dr. Robotnik in the Current Sonic-Comics.

S.H.I.V.A, my Big O charrie *prods siggy* is the lost cyborg, trudging through the wastelands out side Paradigm until she came to the city, she lost all memories and has no idea of her home, she still hunts for her home/family or anyone who knows who she is.
harshfire 11-27-2005 02:42 PM
Um...
I don't know why I have this name. It was originally going to be Chapel VII, since he's a character I use often (and he's in the comics I'm creating). But Rev...I just like the name.

A lot of people tell me it should stand for "revelution". Maybe. ^_^

Past Usernames:

harshfire: From when I was a noob, and it was some name I came up with out of the blue. I was also very into Teen Titans, so it came up as being Starfire's sister or something...(Lame I know. Embarrassed Sweatdrop )

Reki: Name for Balmung of the Azure Sky's assistant, Reki, from .hack//LEGEND OF THE TWILIGHT

Juvenile Angel (JA): Name I came up with as well. Juvenile means young, and is associated with being a delinquent (Juvenile Hall) and Angel is...well and Angel.

Later days;
JA
Username: Rev VII

KittyTheHitwoman 12-01-2005 03:08 AM
My name is pretty straightforward -- it's the combination of my two great loves: Hello Kitty, and contract killing(:
kaura117 12-12-2005 12:16 AM
The name was a result of some late-night avatar-building almost a decade ago- and yes, I am fully aware how easy it is to mistaken it for a girl's name. -_-;

The 117 isn't just a string of numbers! It's actually representative of the avatar's last name- Nighthawk- as the F-117 happens to be a stealth jet of exactly the same designation.

So thus, Kaura Nighthawk. Current permutation: combatitive capitalist.
Sharpshooter005 12-12-2005 06:11 AM

These guys.

Basically they'd go around, in their awesome green uniforms and they'd use their immensly awesome Sharps rifles to kill the enemy from long distances. Basically they were death incarnate. Or as close to death incarnate as you'll really get.

And um...I dont know...the numerical suffix just kind of seemed right.

quote:
Hello Kitty, and contract killing(:

Well...that is pretty much what hello kitty is all about.

The Ghost of Ember 12-18-2005 04:48 PM
Christ, my username has quite a tale behind it. It's not as simple as 'Oh, one day I decided to just be 'the Ghost of Ember' because it sounded cool!'

The origin dates back way to the nineties, when I was a stupid kid in a club with a bunch of other kids in my neighborhood, we decided we would all have 'Fire' Aliases, mine being 'IceFire.' Skip to a year or two later, when I crashed into the internet like a bag of bricks. After deciding I needed a better username than 'Ristar', I decided to go with the Fire theme, and as such titled myself 'Fire Ember Dragoon,’ with the Ember being left out most of the time. Unfortunately that was a pretty common username at the time, so I dropped the Fire and Dragoon and added Flame to the Ember middle name, thus making me EmberFlame.

I went by that for a long time, and pretty much everyone just referred to me by 'Ember', so I eventually dropped the flame and became just Ember. However, just Ember is Generic in itself, and I came by the inspiration for my full title when someone 'murdered' me in a forum post. Instead of smacking them upside the head as I should have, I jokingly claimed to rise as a Ghost and changed my username accordingly. I found it so amusing that I just kept it.

So yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
corrupt 01-10-2006 05:11 PM
Corrupt: my nickname, cos i'm corrupt (basically I stole something) and from the matrix.
Jstar136 01-28-2006 02:24 AM
My name is derived from Jester, pure and simple.

I got the idea to splice it from Dexter's Laboratory into J(e)star since when Dexter was a hero he became Dexstar.

I'm quite humorous, so that's why I chose the name.

Not to mention my favorite color is green. Roll Eyes
SEELE 08 02-28-2006 04:13 PM
My name comes from NGE, SEELE member always have a number that identifies them on there floating black monolithis. SEELE 01 through SEELE 12 are all possible so I picked eight randomly. Just seemed nifty I guess.
Lost_Cyborg 04-22-2006 06:55 AM
I know I've already posted, but I've kinda thought it out better since then... And I don't meen I've thought up a better story, I just mean I've been able to arange it in my head.

Lost-cyborg, I'm trapped in between the techno/mech world and the bio/natural world, I can't make up my mind which world my heart longs for, in my confusion I've become lost and merge the two together as a cyborg.
Blue Crow 04-22-2006 10:36 AM
Blue Crow

i've always liked the color blue, and crows are pretty badass. Pleased

...but nah, seriously......it's a cowboy bebop reference.

My name just came to me one day when I had decided to fool everyone on another forum i was on by making a second account, with this name. I thought that it sounded cool, and it's just stuck. It's also the name of a character who I use in RPs sometimes.
Chitter-Box-Kat 05-18-2006 09:31 PM
There is no mystical meaning behind my name. In real life I am a chatter-box, so I changed it a bit to Chitter-Box. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE cats, having been living with cats since my parents brought me home from the hospital. So I changed cat to Kat and viola! Chitter-Box-Kat was born. Big Grin

Seriously.

One fo these days I might change it. Maybe to Neko_Killa_Chik or something like that.
ScionofDestiny 05-18-2006 10:25 PM
Scion means "heir"

Destiny refers to the (sometimes?) inevitable course of events. It is based on the philosophical idea that somethings are just meant to happen. It goes without saying that this is just one of many popular interpretations of destiny and is the one I was thinking of at the time when I wrote up this name.

Basically it means I am "one who inherits or acts on destiny" - I sort of made it to try and reconcile with the idea that although destiny may exist, it exists because I chose to accept it. Which isn't necessarily correct or right, and doesn't always fit in with my way of thinking. It was a spur of the moment kind of thing.

I also tended to seperate destiny from fate when I made the name. Most views hold them as one in the same, but I tried to make destiny into a sort of "individualism" and fate into "collectism". The destinies of everything converge to make the collective destiny of everything - which is fate.

Again, that is an idea which isn't necessarily correct. Nor is it one I feel like arguing.
