Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

Wow.

Really, thats the best word to some up both the film and the dub.

Not a bad performance amoung them, imo. And that Shillay Shally Dilly Dally thing ive herad people moan about? If you only listen to that one moment, yes it sounds odd. But it omes back later in the film, where it makes sense.


I loved the reunion moment, where all of the surviving characters (that you can have in your team) from FFVII reappear.

Oh and George Newbern rocked as Sephiroth.

got "Advent Children" in the mail yesterday (whoo hoo! Amazon sent it early)! I watched it and, I must say, I was blown away! I wouldn't even know where to begin talking about it and I think I'll need to watch it again in order to take it all in. Some comments at the moment are:

I liked Reno and Rude a lot! They made me laugh. Especially when Cloud kicks Reno out of the room, but he keeps talking through the door.

I was pretty disappointed when Reno and Rude were fighting the silver haired dudes, and some giant piece of metal fell on Rude's head. I think it was supposed to be funny, but, in reality, that would have killed him, and it was freaky to see him just shake it off and stand back up.

I have NOOO idea what Rufus was trying to accomplish, but I did like when he revelead Jenova's head and said "A good son would have known". Ha Ha! Take that Kadaj!

If anyone has questions I'll try to answer them.

I've been answering and reading other answers since the Japanese release last year, so it's all stuck in my head (no wonder I can't remember other "important" things.. ).

those are great! my copy made me cry tears of blood the first time i watched it.

I loved the movie! can't really place my favorite thing about it. I think it was a tie between the Turks and their bombs *can quote it directly*, Yazoo, Kadaj, and Loz overall.... Heck! Too many things to list! Only thing I didn't like was how much Aerith/Aeris (whatever!) was involved. Don't bother trying to change my mind about her; I'll always dispise her.
I cried when I heard/saw Zack. I've seen Last Order, and I adore him as a character. *mutter mutter*
I'm tied for favorite character. Zack hands-down for overall, but living I'm lost. Sephiroth, Vincent, Yazoo, Kadaj, Rufus, Reno, Cloud.
*giggles* Cid made me laugh. I swear he'd be happy on Gramama's farm.

I almost bought this, but by total accident. I went to EB games, to buy the new FF 11 exspansion, and they gave me advent insteadm becasue I can see how you can get mistake "Hey, could I please have the new final fantasy 11 exspansion pack" for Advent children.

Just go to youtube or google video, and type in "Last Order", not that hard and it's on both.


I have the AC OST, I bought the limited edition. But I'm not posting any links to where you can download it. Besides, if you want it bad enough you'll find it or buy it.

The music is great. I love One-Winged Angel. It's just the right amount of creepiness for me.

ah. ok. i was hoping there was a OST out. i loved the remix to the random battle music they played when yazoo and loz first battled cloud.

While I agree with you, I,

1) wish the song and the battle had been made longer

and 2) still prefer the original orchestrated version of One-Winged Angel from the Reunion Tracks.

oh you are defenitly right i saw the trailer but this one was different cloud got the sikcness and vincent was telling him something in japanese (cant understand tee hee) but i think cloud gets infected with geostigma or something like that but one question
why do those teen agers look like sephiroth are they his children

Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo are, in a way Sephiroth.

They are "remnants" of his spirit, which was so strong that it was able to come back, but in three different bodies.


Each show different parts of Sephiroth.

Kadaj as a leader and an expert sword weilder.

Yazoo as the long haired 'pretty boy', with a evil undertone.

Loz as the strong, muscle bound 'burt' but actually childish.

That's probably what made me laugh the hardest: trying to see Sephiroth with a childish side. The guy kicks serious tail when he fights! It's hard to picture him even smiling kindly, let alone crying! I seriously just burst out laughing after I typed that. That's impossible to picture, it is. Gomen nasai. I'll shut up now.

Loz was hilarious.
