True, it would be nice to have a theatrical release, but I don't think that SE is willing to take that risk.

TSW didn't do well, and if they were to do a theatrical release of AC, SE would have to bank on that a lot of people played FF VII (and liked it), because I've seen reviews from those who haven't played the game, and they didn't like the movie that much.

Agreed. It should also be allowed to be on the IMDb Top 250, since it's been rated higher than a plethora of other films on there by the users. However, in order to get on the list, the majority of the voters have to be regular voters, in which this doesn't qualify under. Oh well. I mean, it wasn't one of the best movies ever made, but it was pretty damn good. Better than a lot of stuff on the Top 250 list, in my opinion.

Well, everyone's saying Jan. 10th, and I have a bet going with a friend of mine that works at EB. Also, the dub has leaked over the internet, so it's safe to assume that it's not too far off from release.

Also, within the next couple of months, Squeenix is going to add a lot more American merch for it. Take that, $33 t-shirt.

They also keep advertising for it in Japan, and there's a really bad quailty 30 second commercial floating around. It's nothing special, though.

Probably because that's an 'american-made' movie, and if FF7AC was, it might get the same treatment.

2010? Is that correct? Not even Advent Children is worth waiting THAT long, especially after it's already been released in Japan. That must be a mistake.

It's kind of funny that Squeenix has yet to say anything about it.

So the question is since it's not featured on the Suncoast, Samgoodie, Waldenbooks, or Borders webbies did it come out today?
