For some reason, I really like making introduction threads.... unfortunately I'm not a very interesting person so... er... bear with me!

First off, my names Jake, I'm 18 and I'm born/live in England.
Until recently I was attending university taking an HND Software Engineering course, but the course failed to interest me in the slightest, which says to me that I'd probably not want a job in that field... so I dropped out, though I do plan to take some night courses soon. I'm probably too relaxed and laid-back in approaching my future... I just tend to not worry about things too much.

Interests? Anime (Though I admit my knowledge is lacking compared to others), games, cartoons... the usual really. Oh and I love to wite! I write quite a bit of fanfiction, but I do actually do some freelance review work for magazines. I have done some poetry, but it's sickening at best. I actually place my hobbies and interests as of quite high importance, as life is pretty pointless if you aren't getting some kind of enjoyment from it.
I also have a quite unhealthy obsession with R. Dorothy, and Raven from Teen Titans. Err... don't ask!

Personality? I'm not the best judge of this, but generally I like to think I'm pleasant... I don't bite at least! Though I have developed a bit of a cynical attitude over the last few years - Not intended. I also have a pretty depressive downbeat attitude towards things and life which I'm sure must get annoying - Pay no heed to it!
This attitude, along with my dress sense (I tend to only wear black for example, and wear a few wristbands and necklaces) has meant other people see me as quite a gothic character, but strictly speaking I'm just not very upbeat, that's all.

As for how I got into Big O... I'm actually quite a newbie, I caught a few of the episodes on Toonami (Toonami is actually a standalone channel over here, and most shows are uncut), and enjoyed it greatly. I caught the rest of the series by downloading them, enjoyed them too, so I've bought them... should be arriving today in fact.

Anywho I've bored you long enough now so... er... hello.
