[Fan Fiction] Wanted: Fan Fiction Helpers

I was toying with an idea to have an important thread for all of you who want to find fan fiction helpers. This way, everyone will know who is looking for a helper and who is willing to be a helper.
This is how it should work:
- If you are interested in finding a helper, make a post informing the readers of what you are working on and what you are looking for in a helper.
- If you are interested in helping the above person, you may post a reply, stating about your writing abilities, genres (areas of writing) that interest you, and other things that pertain to writing.
- When you have found a person you would like to work with, please let the person(s) know thru the PM/IM/E-mail system and edit your original post (and let us at least know you found a helper).
- Any ads older than a year will be removed.
- If you no longer need help, please clear out the ad, write [DELETE] and I will remove your post from the listing.
Please pay attention to this first post as it can change from time to time.
Thank you very much,
Pen1300
EDIT: January 12, 2005> Added points 4 and 5. Thank you!

I'd be happy to be a fan fiction helper. I'm pretty good at spotting typos or rough grammar, and I'm a stickler for technical accuracy (or at least a good simulation of it).

I just recently started working on a crossover fic between Big O and Trigun, and I need a little help on making my writing more descriptive and less redundant.
What I really need assistance on, though, is a third season of Big O I'm trying to create. I really only have ideas for two, maybe three things that happen, so I'm seriously stuck for ideas. If anyone could help, it's be more than appreciated.

Oh man, after a tornado and four hours nap, this is a heck of a way to start Friday, but I can't sleep. I was mulling over everything I'd learned from you guys speculating, and thinking of my own, while the storms were continuing to roll in. And I kept thinking, man, I should write a fanfic.
Nah, someone already had, I told myself, and besides, a Big-O fanfic would be the hardest thing ever. But I kept getting little ideas, scenes popping into my head, a tatter of a plot thread... but finally I fell asleep.
I was dreaming of Schwartzwold tormenting Roger, and Beck wrangling with him, and Alex trying to make himself God. And I woke up, and in moments I had the BIGGEST dang punchline to the series! I was so excited I had to get up. I felt like Michael Seebach stumbling onto the truth, even tho it drove him insane. It might drive me crazy, but I have to write this thing somehow. If I can pull this off, this is SO gonna freak you guys out. It might even be what the creators had in mind.
In fact, like Roger, I know my limits. If anyone has any talent for plot development or writing talent, give me a buzz. I can write, oh man can I write, but I need a lot of work on this plot. This is gonna be a serious undertaking, because I want it to have the weird rhyme and reason of the show we love, that I now adore, and I won't release any of it till it does. And I want at least several acts. I'm gonna post this in the other Big-O boards and see if I get a bite.
And then I'm getting to work. Release the hounds!

I can help write something. Anything'll work. I'm not the best at action scenes, but I can do romance and drama.

I'm a writer myself, but I'm looking for someone who is an artist, and would be interested in collaborating on some sort of manga work. I have some ideas, and am willing to listen to someone else's. Please pm me if this sounds interesting to you.

Greetings! Recently, a co-author of fanfiction and I came up with a crossover between "The Big O" and "Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure". The result was "The Big Parallel Trouble Adventure", the first two episodes of which you can read
here. Basically, we're searching for talented fanfic authors to write an episode for this series. Any interested parties can contact me via PM with a copy of their work and an e-mail address and I'll respond promptly.
Romance and/or action writers are both welcome to participate, by the way!
Thanks for your time!

I just finished a second draft of a fan (spam)? fic. The plot tells how one of the main characters deals with a traumatic experience and ensuing PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). I have tried to avoid becoming too morbid and would like a second opinion to tell me if I succeeded. It would also be helpful to have someone willing to proof this, help me fill in the plot holes and judge if the story should even be submitted. I'm not sure what the etiquette is for asking for fan-fiction helpers so please forgive any gaffes.

Hi all, here less than a day and already asking for help.
I need a beta for a short fic. It strives to be a missing scene set sometime shortly before
Daemonseed . This is humor and (somewhat) romance. I was wondering where Dorothy got the money she needed without being really obvious about it. This is what came out. I need someone for character voice and flow, mostly.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been trying to complete my third season for months now, and I'm to a point where a HUGE megadues battle has become necessary. Problem is... I'm really bad at writing battles. Can anyone help me?

I'm a pretty good writer, best in my class. So, I guess I'll lend a hand to anyone who needs it
P.S Megadeus Battles are my specialty, but be warned that I may insert my plot-fixer Tim (As seen in Terminal Completion for anyone who's not read it)

Searching for: someone to assist me in writing my spoof- "A Heaven's Day Carol"
Reason: mid-terms are coming up and I don't want this fanfic to die yet! @_@ It's too good and I really think it should be completed...also I don't have enough time (when I do have spare time) to write up enough of the story to make any real progress.
Helper must be able to think like I think (about the story at any rate

) and must be able to keep the characters relatively in character (meaning not alot of loveydovey from R.Dorothy, etc). I've got it written so far to the point where the Nephew comes in (litterally...I have it ended right when the door opens x_X)...

Help wanted:
Betas to help read, edit, and organize multiple short chapters to Rise of the Domina. Story follows Roger Smith's daughter Rachel as she grows up to become the new Domina (feminine latin equivalent for Dominus) of Big O. A few small (unbeta-ed!) parts are already posted in a thread of the same name in the Nightingale.
========
Help offered:
Will gladly lend my eye as a beta to anyone who wishes it. Simply PM and I will be glad to help as best I can.

Lemme start out, with thins, I had an overactive imagination as a child, and I have yet to shake it in my adulthood. I've never tried my hands at giant robot battles, but I am working on many various woks as I push my way through college.
I could offer some examples of my writing, but, um, when my computer died, I lost the links to the site (whose name was sinfully unusual), and my roomate misplaced the paper I had it written down on, so as soon as I find them again, you'll have links.
Anywho, I'll run through a quick list of my qualifications as a helper....
I love to write.
My mind has no lower gear, except with math.
I was once almost committed when a journal stye story starring myself was accidentally handed in instead of my actual journal (I didn't know it, so when questions were asked about it, I replied affirmatively to them and insisted it was all factual).
I have no life. I play video games, write, and watch TV and movies most of the day, everyday.
If you want ideas, help, or just want to collaborate on a new work, contact me at your whimsy. FYI, I also got a 99% on my 27 page senior term paper that I wrote on La Bete (a very murderous French werewolf thing).

I am willing to help anyone who wants to translate something into Latin or German for some reason. Also I am fairly good at picking up on grammatical mistakes and knowing how to fix them. This year many of my peers turned to me to help them edit their senior research paper, if that is any evidence of my ability. As for the German and Latin, I have earned several awards for my prowess in both.
If interested, e-mail me at:
dictator_latinae44@sbcglobal.net or send me a message through the system provided by PCF
All right, this isn't QUITE the same kind of help that other people have been requesting, but it is nonetheless of dire importance! Yes.
I'm working on a fic that's going to take place sometime between acts 24 and 26, but I have no access to those episodes at this time. Which means I just need to know a thing or two.
I recall there being multiple scenes after Dorothy gets her circuits messed with where she's lying all Sleeping Beauty-esque in Roger's ruined apartment. Now, I also know that there's a point towards the end when Beck wanders in there by himself, and he stays there until the end of the series, I think. I need to know: where is Roger during that timeframe? Do we know for certain where Beck was before he shows up there? For the life of me, I can't remember what was said to Dorothy by either when they both see her.
Having transcripts of these scenes would be REALLY helpful. Thanks in advance!
