Kenshin vs Spike vs Vash

Tabris-kun 05-09-2004 12:55 PM
who would win, Kenshin, Spike, or Vash?
Ai Takahashi 05-09-2004 01:04 PM
Maybe you should check your spelling before you post something, eh? Heh.

Fine, I'll play your game. Vash would win because he uses a gun, and guns usually win against bare hands or swords. Now, if you try and get tricky on me and say, "but omfg swords r soo much bettr lololol!!!11" then sorry, long range beats short range anyday.

hey break it up guys Tongue

I got to go with Vash the Stampede. The Humanoid Typhoon would kick their @$$es left right and the other way... Big Grin Plus, you gotta see his Angel Arm Pleased ...that thing put a friggin hole in the moon O.o;;;

And THAT wasn't even at full power @_@;;;.

Plus Kenshin could probably cut bullets in half using the Ama Kakeru Ryu No Hirameki technique.

So my vote goes to Vash and Kenshin...

Spike would come to claim the large bounty on Vash the Stampead. Vash, minding his own business, would be sitting around in some town being nice and everything, just returned from "taking care of" Knives. Kenshin, somehow appearing from the late 1800's on Earth to planet Gunsmoke, also is sitting around in said town being nice and minding his own business. Just as Spike shows up in the swordfish on this out of the way planet, he gets a call from Jett reminding him that not only is Vash the Stampead of the whatever $$60 billion converts into woolongs bounty around, but also the legentary Sword Drawing Master Assasin for an added bonus. Vash and Spike have a gunfight which ends in a draw, and then degenerates into a martial arts competition which also ends in a draw. Kenshin notices the ruckus and gets sucked in when Spike notices another bounty head. Kenshin's sense of justice makes him decide to teach the terrible human typhoon, apparent killer of millions a lesson, and then a meteor hits the planet and annhialates everyone.

The End.

NO!!! WHY! WHY?!!! I can't choose....but all in all it's either spike vr. vash. that's what's there. Kenshin'd get shot before he'd even draw his sword.

Kenshin has the superhuman ability to deflect bullets with his sword. Plus I wouldn't be surprised if Kenshin killed Spike or Vash easily if he ever used his Amakakeruryunohirameki.

Hmmmm.... that's tough. I'm kind of thinking Vash probably would but I can see Kenshin knocking him out very quickly but usually Kenshin likes the figure out how someone fights before he strikes. And Vash usually brings out the gun only as a last resort. Now Spike would probably go straight into fighting though... and then get knocked out by Kenshin. But Vash against Kenshin? If you are going by power, then probably Vash because of the whole Angel arm thing. But Kenshin is very smart and powerful in his own rite. Hmmm... I think I haven't made this any easier on myself.

I guess I'll go for Tie. I just can't make up my mind.

AMAKAKERURYUNOHIRAMEKI!!!!

Don't you guys get it? Kenshin will always win! He's proven he's stealth, and he can wipe the floor with all of them! I bet you Kenshin could probably cut Big O in two!
Mr. Saturn 05-10-2004 01:32 AM
Either Spike or Vash. Kenshin would get taken out first. One of them would bust a cap in his ass before anyting else happened.........

.......................But Alucard would dominate all of them.......
IamRogerSmith 05-10-2004 01:45 AM
I'm sorry - Kenshin is the correct answer here. If they actually had a reason to fight, Kenshin would KEEP ON LIVING.

Spike gets shot for no reason and dies after fighting his toughest enemy. Spike would try using Jeet Kun Do against Kenshin to make it a fair fight and get chopped in two.

Vash would get chopped in two while eating donuts.

Didn't you guys see the Kenshin Movie?!?! HELLO, he had an entire squad fire at him - he dodged ALL OF THEIR BULLETS, jumped OVER THEM and then slew the leader! He moves faster than you can see boy-eee.

I never saw, or even hardly heard of Kenshin until just now. I've *tried* to watch a couple of episodes of Trigun and just couldn't get into it. It seemed silly to me.

I never really watched much anime before I started watching Big O. Later, I started watching Cowboy Bebop too. I like both, for somewhat different reasons, though they're both relatively serious and grown-up shows compared to most anime I've tried to watch.

I guess I'm going to have to vote for Spike just because he seems relatively less like a cartoon character and relatively more like a real guy. Bebop did its gun stuff very well for a cartoon. You could actually tell the make and model of the guns being used a lot of the time, and sometimes the weapons techniques shown were something like the way it's actually done too.

Oh, and somehow, in all this talk of guns of this-or-that type versus swords, it has been fogotten what an artist Spike was with *hand grenades*. I'm so used to guns that they haven't really made me nervous since I can remember. But I have to admit grenades always made me just slightly uneasy. (Those things shoot both ways, man!)

I would have never thought of using a grenade the way Spike did when he opened the final battle of the final Bebop episode. I mean the part where he sort of nonchalantly slouches into Red Dragon headquarters and fakes all the guards out by simply *dropping* a live grenade at his feet and then kicking it into their faces before they realize what's going on. That was *smooth*. Cool I wouldn't have the nerve to play that kind of soccer.

I'm saying Kenshin, simply because he's the only one I like.
noTomato 05-10-2004 10:53 AM
well, you know Vash and Kenshin wouldn't want to fight in the first place, if they had to, it's shoot/cut to injure or forever ruin eachother's fighting career, and spike...meh. It's a tie!
StevieV019 05-10-2004 11:06 AM
Oh hell!! Now that is the fight of the century, makes things a lot more interesting.

If Kenshin has the Battousai mindset, its all over, Kenshin wins, case closed.

If he wont kill though, Id have to go with Spike, cripes, he took out Vicious, and yeah, I know he wasnt a samurai per se, but he had some sword skills...

Hmmm.... I didn't even think of whether or not Kenshin was in the Battousai mindset or not. I have feeling that if he was, he'd win then. He'd circle them and then go in with the killing.

I went for the Rurouni mindset thinking that he'd wait to react to what was going on and then make his move. I still think it would end up being a fight between Vash and Kenshin but maybe Spike would surprise me.

You know, this would be easier if there were just 2 to pick from not 3.

No more Kenshin bull crap, Vash is the one with real powers.
I mean so what he can deflect a few bullets, but can he deflect a energy cannon large enough to put a hole in big o, new york, or any city. Come on think people in the name of god you are ************
Killed by Spike because I hadn't mentioned him...
John Doe 05-10-2004 05:46 PM
Hard to say, Vash definitely has the most firepower of any of the characters, the guy did blow a frickin hole in the moon after all. Than again, Kenshin can move with extreme alacrity (faster than the human eye can follow as fans of the show well point out) so he might just slice Vash in two (or seriously injure him) before the latter can prep his Angel arm. All three characters possess weapons capable of killing each other in an instant (although only Vash's Angel Arm possesses a truly massive area-of-effect) so I don't think killing power will be much of a concern here.
