I'm going to Sakura-con next year and i want to make a sweet/wicked costume but i dont know what Manga Anime etc. to do and i dont want to do Big O unless i do a Megadeus and i dont know how to make one.

Go through your favorite manga/anime and pick which characters you would love to impersonate.
Narrow that down by studying their costumes and see which ones you can make and/or would not be embarrassing (in your opinion).
My own checklist includes such things as - can I work with the hair? What props do they usually carry? Do I have to make anything for their costume, props, headpieces, etc? Can I get most of the stuff at a thrift store? Would it be dangerous to walk around in with a crowded room? WILL IT BE COMFORTABLE?
The rest depends on how much time, money, and effort you want to spend on the piece.

If i was gonna go I would go as wolfwood since I look so much like him. I could even amke a decent cross gun.

Is there a difference? I wish there was a coplay thing near here, under 5 hours.
I would try to go as Yomiko Readmen from R.O.D. the OAV version.(gee I wounder why
) I really do somewhat look like her.

If you walked around in public (outside the con) people wouldn't figutre it out and might even compliment you.

Right now i cosplay Spike. That one is easy. Hmmmm, would Speed Racer be considered enough of an anime to be cosplayed?

Dude, Speed Racer was one of the ORIGINAL animes! The guys dressed as Speed at cons are always surrounded by old school fangirls.

I actually spent loads of time making the perfect Vincent costume (do fangirls like that one too? I hope not.) to go to a con, and then stuff came up and I couldn't go. Arrrrg! Do they know how hard it is to find buckles just the right size? Don't get me started on the arm...
At least there's always next year.

Its been a dream of mine, that I would go to a convention looking like Takumi from Kamen Rider FAIZ (With the DRIVER around my waist)... and my girlfriend would be dressd as Sailor Mars... a man can always dream cant he?

Seeing stuff like this makes me want to go out and buy a white suit with a hot pink shirt and dress up like Alex Rosewater. I think I have his hairline, but my voice leaves much to be desired.
