Well, I like Sephiroth. He is my favorite final fantasy villian, and I use the name for just about everything.
M.S. Feather

I've had a few people ask about my username so I thought I might as well post up its meaning.
First of all the M and S stand for MunkySpunk. It's basically a combination of a quote from one of my favorite movies (The Shawshank Redemption) and the name of a member in one of my favorite bands (KoRn).
"What is your malfunction, you fat barrel of monkey spunk?" -Hadley
I know you're probably thinking 'OMG that's f***ing gross!' ...Ah well, humor me if you will.
As for Feather...

Mr. Feather, the henchman in Undercover Brother. He was pretty much my favorite character (aside from UB) and I think I remain the only person infatuated with him and his hilarity.
And thus, M.S._Feather was born. Just call me Feather. ^_^

I started out with this name on another forum. I figured I'd be the only one named after a tree. I like it. People know who I am and I'm not confused with anyone else.
Though oddly enough...it has been taken by someone on Yahoo and AIM. Go figure.
Madrona
I've been Zola since the first day I went online, LOL
I like to use it because it's short and easy to remember, and as Tony will attest, I'm so used to it now that I answer to it as well as my actual first name, which is Jonet.

My name comes from De Loused in the Comatorium, an album by the Mars Volta. The album is basically about a man named Cerpin Taxt who somehow gets into a coma, has wonderful dreams in it, wakes up and ends his life. It's more complicated than that, but that's basically the gist of it. There's also a track on the cd (the last one, may I add) called Take The Veil Cerpin Taxt, which is probobly the best song on the album. Hell, what are you doing reading this? GO OUT AND BUY THE GODDAMN CD!
Edit: Here's something from songfacts.com about the album:
quote:
The album details the last days of an L.A. graffiti artist that guitarist Omar A. Rodriguez Lopez and lead singer Cedric Bixler were friends with. He is known over the course of this album as Cerpin Taxt. In this track, Cerpin Taxt, who was a suicidal drug addict, injects morphine and falls into a coma. Later tracks depict the visions Cerpin Taxt would have seen whilst in the coma.
