Saw about...five minutes of it once.

...Didn't really hold my interest.

I had the exact same reaction to invader zim. So I'm sure with my luck, this show will wind up everywhere, and I'll be the lone voice of dissent.

Why? Because you always need one person chastising you for buying a ten dollar plush toy, it's a quota thing.

I like it! since there is no more big o to look forward to, i've been watching it. reminds me of the matrix yah know.

You gotta admit, the french have a weird way of screwing up cartoons!

And Sissy is cool, those jerks need to stop picking up on her. The dialogue and voice acting is terrible. But the show is still entertaining (albeit as repetitive as an autistic childs yo-yo).

You see, Anime is the Japanese term for animation. In Japan, Everything from Bugs Bunny to GITS is Anime. Therefore, even something like... well most anything you see on Newgrounds is Anime.

It's just here in the US, the term Anime means "Japanese Animation".

Now, what I have noticed is that the French, in all their *coughgeniuscough* has been copying the "Japanese Style" and have been making semi-successful shows. Code Lyoko is one of them.

In my opinion, Code Lyoko is one of the strangest shows I've seen in a while. I like it, a little bit. But I'd rather be watching something like Cowboy Bebop, Inu Yasha, or Big O...

And... Don't get me started on Totally Spies...

Ugh... Code: Lyoko is three scoops of lame with weaksauce tooping. It's like a bad webcomic in animated form. Plus, everyone's forehead is friggin' huge!

Alrighty for those of you who are Code Lyoko Fans I just thought I would point out that all new epsoides started yesterday and are contuining through the week. I actually like the show so I thought I'd bump this up.

You can check Cartoon Networks Schedule To find out the times, just make sure to change the timezone to fit with yours.

To be internet-tastic, IMO, this show is teh nubxorz. Not to be mean around yous guys who like this show, but it has no point in existing. This one tyme while watching the show, this guy was like in the locker room, but then he had to jack in from like a mile away from where the nerd guy with the computer was. WHat?

Then like when they went super saiyan 3D, they're hair changed colors and they got even weirder shaped heads than when they were normal 2d sayan. Not to mention, the fact that they totally ripped off of .Hack/sign with the chick going on the net thing and then becoming a cat?

Then the monsters in the 3D world are all like excessivley gruesome for a kids show whith like no eyes and stuff, and knives-for-forearms. Plus it looks extra ghetto and things always turn up happy.

Sorry for le' rant. Dragonball Z's excessive dragging on of its show and Yu-gi-Oh & Pokeman as welll with their retartedness just scarred me and my like of kiddy anime.

i love it. and i'm glad that aelieta is now a student at the school! but i don't think cartoon network ever showed the pilot for this show.

edit: Though my respect for the creator kind of...went out of the negative numbers (or it went closer to zero anyway) when I heard he detested alot of his fanbase.

I like the show. The new episods are intesting even though I've only seen 2 of the new ones.

I had a dream dealing with Code Lyoko this morning. I was at my school and I ahd asked my theatre arts teacher for his old cell phone because I saw he had a new one, he gave it to me. A bit later I somehow get the message that Ami, or someone, is in trouble so we have to go help them. I tell Jermy (hes a kid in my french and theatre class) that we have to leave school now to go help but he wants to get this note signed first. So while I wate for him I'm pacseing around trying to figure out how on the phone can I get it so I can acually call someone. Alas nothing becomes of the rest of the dream.

Invader Zim is overrated. Its good...but not the pinnicle of american animation.
Jhonen is probably growling slowly at what they did to Zim. At least it gives him some money. Ever seen a picture of him? He is inhumanly thin. And pale. Comic book people scare me. Gah.

The only reason I couldnt watch this show was because of their craniums. Same thing with the Lord of the Rings(Or any other movie Hugo Weaving is in for that matter), its far too distracting. I cannot help but utter the line "May your foreheads grow like the mighty oak."

I dont like it. I'm not going out of my way to evangelize that it sucks..but yeah. Not the best thing ever. Totally Spies...theres a fountain of suckiness.

And I dont even have cable anymore.

I remember someone telling me that the pilot for Code Lyoko was called "Garage Kids", and wasn't shown in America.

By accident, (searched for "computer" on video google) I found the pilot.

Yes, yes it was! And I really wish they had stuck to that original idea as it looks like that would have made a better show. However, I think they decided that it was "too dark and scary for children," and lightened it up a bit. Pity. I think it probably would have appealed to a wider audience had they stuck with their original idea.
