Howdy, Monolith! I'm Wienberg, the Resident Conservative Hippie.

I'd like to introduce you to a few important aspects of the forums, so as to integrate you into a full, active, good participant. To your left and right (*fight attendant points left and right*) are where you can find the Hudson River Pier. (Directions arbitrary). In there, if you look under your seat (fight attendant does so) you'll find the stickied threads. Read those so as to enjoy your flight. Additional sources of enjoyment are the Rules thread and the FAQ. And, if you need any assistance, feel free to ask by pressing the PM button above your head.

As parting gifts for your flight, you will receive a several items. First, a Mick Foley style barbed wire bat. Secondly, a sweaty gym sock (not a pair, just one sock). And, thirdly, from the closet of Major Pain, his gift to you (in leave of absense). A glow stick he peed on.

Welcome aboard monolith94! You have a cool avatar - great shot of Roger So... as a Dr. Who fan, what are you favorite episodes - who are your favorite Doctors? What have you heard about the new Dr. Who series?

Well, I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the fifth doctor. His mellow attitude and relaxed persona always agreed with me. Some of my favorite episodes occured during that time, the most notable being the caves of androzani.

I also have a deep aprecciation for the invasion of the dinosaurs stuff, and basically any dr. who I can get my hands on.

As to the new dr. who series - I'm optomistic. There's certainly more evidence to back up its creation than there is for a season 3 of the big o....

I've read some interviews, the commitment seems to be there. Let's just hope the talent is up to snuff.

If Caves of Androzani is the episode I am thinking of, it was definately one of the greats - the air of doom and foreboding that permiated the ep was awesome
